    Download Common Entrance Exam for Drawing (CEED) Drawing Abilities and Skills Previous Years Question Papers

    Common Entrance Examination for Design is an All India level examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology located at Mumbai. The institute conducts this examination on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resources Development of the Indian Government.

    Purpose of CEED Examination:

    The purpose of Common Entrance Examination for Design is to access the aptitude of candidates for communication skills, creativity, logical reasoning, drawing skills, visual perception ability and aptitude for design.

    Eligibility for taking up CEED Examination:

    For applying to the CEED examination, candidates must have obtained any of the following educational qualification from a recognized university:

    UG Degree in interior design/design/architecture/engineering
    Professional diploma in Design being CEPT/NIT or any other equivalent qualification of four-year duration after completion of 10+2
    Four-year Bachelor of Fine Arts after completion of 10+2
    Five-year course of G.D. Art after 10th with one-year professional experience
    PG degree in computer applications/science/arts

    Since CEED is conducted for admission to M. Design and Ph. D in Design programmes in different IITs and IISc Bangalore, candidates will have to show their eligibility while seeking admission to the particular institute/programme for which they are interested. There is no specific age limit to apply for CEED examination and candidates are permitted to apply for this examination any number of times.

    Pattern of CEED question paper:

    Prior to the year 2009, different format was followed and from the year 2010, CEED examination included the following sections:

    Visual Perception and Design sensitivity
    Drawing abilities and skills
    Problem Identification and Analysis
    Design Problem Solving
