Some IT and software companies have standardised 65% or 70% as the
percentage that a engineer should have in order to be eligible in their written tests.
But such companies are very few so don't worry.
Have confidence in yourself. You should be technically competent enough.
Your knowledge in your core subjects should be upto some level.
Don't be disheartened if you can't make it to Infosys , IBM or wipro.
But there are lot of other companies also available in the market
that offer good packages and growth options to their employees.
So better start preparing for interviews then getting tensed.

Of course a b.tch graduate with 70% cut of is eligible for MNC's campuses but make sure that you don't have any backlogs as in many companies object in recruiting bklog candidates.

Yes this the good percentage you have maintained,Infact its the ideal percentage which companies generally looks for ,To get a job in MNC outside the campus is not a easy job ,you will have work alot to get a good job out there,you need have comand over your subjects which you have gone through the Degree.IF you want to go for IT field then you should have basic knowledge about the programming languages and some basic parts ,you need to have good communication level to face the interview.

Most of the MNC's are presently having a cut off of 65% only. But as you qouted as a 3rd year student by the time you obtain your B.tech degree
the cut off range may be incremented by a small factor around 68% or even 70%.

So i recommend you to work hard and at least maintain aggregate around 72+% to be on a safe side and obtain a job in MNC's.

Yes definitely you have good chances to get a job in any MNC with 70% as the MNC's ask for a minimum of 60% in Degree career or Graduation.So with 70% in B.Tech you have a bright future in MNC's.Now you have to sit in all good companies dat take part in a Campus Drive at your College/Institute.If you dont get a better chance in getting into a good MNC then you can go for Walk-in Interview or Off-Campus held at any other college.
At current scenario most of the MNC's have openings for IT graduates.Try to attain the Opportunity.

No. Most of the companies look for 65% in aggregate. Infosys is varying last year it was 60 aggregate now its 65, it depends on college of study also. Few top companies will look for knowledge or skills you have than percentage of marks.

yes you can definitely get job in a MNC .only few mnc conditions overall 70%, but this is not true for all of them.they judge a candidate on the basis of the test they conduct in the reqruitment drive and by your personality,not by your percentage.
but they do have aminimum criteria of 60% during their campus drive. so maintain your percentage amd focus on improvement of your skills.

My friend do not worry MNC'S want 60% throwout your educational carrier ( 10th,+2,B tech)..
infosys,TCS have same type of criteria but WIPRO see only 55% throughout so you will get many
option after your degree just focus on your subject and study hard !

Ya ofcourse, you can get a job in one of the MNC's even Infosys as most of them are laying down the eligibility criteria as 65%. Percentage is just only an eligibility criteria, whereas selection depends purely on your communication skills and clarity in specifying the information.....

yes almost 50 percent of companies ask the the minimum of 70% , but you also have the other side that is ...the other 50% of companies,
companies such as TCS , CTS , accenture , cap Gemini etc are asking around 65% only ...so you will get chance in these companies.

the only this thing you need to improve is that you have to improve the communication skills and group discussion skills along with the technical skills.
obviously , you can apply for these companies .. you percentage should be consistent always.. you should have scored higher even in your 10th and 12th exams

Several MNC are selecting B.TECH students. There is no such fixed percentage of marks that a candidate should possess. Different companies have different criteria for selecting candidates. Some of the companies do look for the percentage of marks while others won’t. Most of the companies look out for the talent as well as our ability to do handle the work that is assigned by them. The percentage of mark is just the basic criteria for selection. Fresher’s normally will need to first clear the test. This is normally an aptitude oriented test. There will also be some technical questions too in some companies. Thereafter the interview round too, needs to be cleared. So if you are interested you must prepare accordingly.

Dont worry most of the MNC's companies has kept cutoff percentage is 68 and more and % is only for entry pass (it is like gate pass) and employe will see your confident level and communication skills..
some companies are kept more then 70% or equal..

hii, definately you will get good jobs in top MNCs like the INFOSYS,hcl,hp,tcs where they will be asking for the 65% marks throughout.some companies like the microsoft,IBM,intel ,philips will be asking for 75% marks.usually there will three rounds in selection,

1.aptitude.
2.technical.
3.human resource interview.

hii, there is less chance of getting placed in big mncs as they ask 60% minimum throughout 10,12 and engineering.somes comapnies like permeative technoligies,rei elcetronics wont ask any percentage critria. you can try there, also apply for IES exam you can get good government jobs.

MNC's are hiring graduates with minimum 60% cut off.
You have good percentage.Yes you are eligible for MNC's.
EAch company has its own cut off
For ex::

• INFOSYS CUT OFF IS 68%
• PERSISTENCE IS 65%
• TCS IS 60%
• WIPRO IS 60%
• IBM IS 70%
• SATYAM MAHINDRA IS 70%

Like wise each cimpany has its own cut off .All you have to do is perform well in the interview.
