Both are the same yet main Differences are:
It's Elaborated as Bachelor of Science . B.Sc Biotechnology is a 3 year degree course where you'll study basic science subjects like Physics, Chemistry,Biology with applied mathematics.
Whereas B.Tech Biotechnology is a 4year Technical based Course where you'll be more emphasized with Engineering Subjects, here you'll study and solve Biological Laws with applied mathematics.

Re: Differences between B.Sc Biotechnology and B.Tech biotechnology?

    hi friend
To get a btech degree one has to give the engineering entrance exam like IIT, AIEEE and various other state level entrance exam for engineering.

But to study B.Sc degree you have to apply in the science colleges for UG in India.
Admission process differs from one college to the other.
While some will ask you to apply online and wait for the merit list to come out, other top level colleges can also ask you to give an entrance exam for the limited seats available.

Also there is going to be some difference in the syllabus as well.

    good luck

Differences between B.Sc Biotechnology and B.Tech biotechnology

B.sc in biotechnology :----------- This is a 3 year general course.. You can get theory based knowledge from this course..

B.tech:------------This is a 4 year technical course, from where you will get lots of practical knowledge.. Also you will get large job opportunities..

    Various fields in the Bio-technology:-

    Genetic engineer

    Drug inspector

    Gene therapy

    Tissue culture

    Plant based drugs

    Tissue culture

    Enzyme engineering and technology

    Hello Dear Friend ....

B.Sc Biotechnology and B.Tech Bio technologies are almost similar

    B.TECH ::: ---

@ B.TECH IS A FOUR YEAR DEGREE COURSE IN WHICH WE STUDY TECHNOLOGY IN GENERAL

@ AND DO NOT DEAL WITH ANY LIVING ORGANISM

    B.SC BIOTECHNOLOGY :::--

@ BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN BIOTECHNOLOGY

@ This area of biology uses living things in technology engineering , medicine

@ Its basis is derived from Biological sciences including Microbiology & Embryology ...

    GOOD LUCK

    Dear,

    BSc. Bachelor of Science
    B Tech. Bachelor of Technology

The basic difference you can pick out from names one is degree for Science and other is for Technical Education.

While if you ask for B Sc. biotech than that is one and only field you are asking of while in B. Tech. It includes man branches as in Civil, mechanical,Computers and even Biotech .

Think which one you want to opt moreover there is a lot syllabus and fee structure difference.

    Best Luck

    >>> It will be mostly deals with the theory side. There, You will be studying about the various living organisms and their characteristics.

    >>> In extent, You will go for Genetic engineering. But, You will not study this topic briefly.

    >>> The main difference is that the duration for B.Sc course is 3 years only.

    B.Tech:-

    >>> B.Tech stands for Bachelor of Technology.

    >>> The name itself implies that you will study about various new technologies used in Biotechnology.

    >>> Here, You will study mostly find practical applications only.

    >>> This degree mostly deals with the Genetic engineering, such as DNA, RNA etc...

    HI

BSc and B.tech in biotechnology both are same.the difference in the year of duration course and BSc is a 3 year course whereas B.tech in biotechnology is 4 year plan

so you are going to do more in dept in B.tech than 3 year plan.right

so topics are included are more in B.TECH. as well as you are dealing with technology where as in BSC you are applying the technique and use to do experiment on living system

    good luck

    thank you
