B.Com is a graduation course which has a subject called corporate secretaryship.But this course is also offered separately called Company secretary ship course which has three levels foundation, intermediate and final course. If the candidate is a post graduate or passed ICSI/ICWAI/ICAI he does not have to do the foundation course. B.Com with corporate secretary ship and Company secretary ship is almost same and there is no difference. Only some of the Colleges provide B.com with corporate secretary ship. Any company which has a paid up capital of more than 50 lakhs has to appoint a company secretary. They can also find opportunities in public sector, law departments, nationalized banks etc…

Some colleges offer courses in Corporate Secretaryship along with the Bachelors course. Company Secretary course on the other hand is offered by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. B.Com with Corporate Secretaryship is B.com course with specilaization in corporate secretaryship.Whereas CS is administerd by ICSI and its a designated degree which will give you membership of ICSI.I would suggest you to go for B.com along CS.It will give you very good career opportunities.
