    @ PAPER I ::

    <<>> You must have a Degree or its equivalent

    <<>> The minimum age would be 21 years

    Details About HAS Exam :

    HAS stands for himachal administrative service exam and this is conducted by the himachal pradesh public service commission and every year the HPPSC is inviting the applications for requiting the various posts in different deportment's.

    For requiting these posts and then you need to qualify the following required requirements are given below like educational qualifications and age limit and also see below selection procedure.

    Required Eligibility :

    For attending the HAS exam, required educational qualifications are you must completed the graduation from recognized university and here not required any percentage and who are studying the final year students are also eligible to apply.

    Required minimum age limit should be 21 years and maximum age limit should be 35 years and here age relaxation is also available for reserved category candidates as per govt rules such as 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

    Here you need to remember every general candidate can apply only 4 times for HAS exams and 7 times for OBC candidates and no limit for SC/ST candidates and also you must qualify the physical stranded as per govt rules.

    Selection procedure :

    For requiting the HAS posts through HAS exam, the selection procedure is base don the following three exams conducted by the HPPSC govt they include;.

    >> Preliminary Exam,
    >> Main Exam,
    >> Interview.

    Apart from first conducted the preliminary exam and after qualifying the preliminary exam called for main exam and then called for main exam and after that interview so if you are qualifying the all tests and then you have the 1 year training period and then you will be become a HAS officer.

    Dear Friend,

    HAS stands for Himachal Administrative Services Examination.This examination is conducted once in a year by Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission.

    Eligibility Criteria:


    The candidate must have to complete graduation from a recognized University.
    The candidate should be an Indian.
    The age in between 21 to 35 years.
    For Government Employee has 2 years age relaxation.


    The HAS Examination Paper Pattern:

    1. Paper I General Studies (200 marks for 100 objective Questions).

    General Science
    Histroy,Geography,Art & Culture & Socio Economic Development of Himachal Pradesh
    Histroy of India & Indian National Movement
    Current Events Of India & International
    India & World Geogrphy
    Economic & Socio development

    2. Paper II CAST (200 marks for 100 objective Questions).
    Interpersonal Skills including communication skills
    Logical reasoning & Analytical Ability
    Comprehension
    Basic Numeracy
    Decision Making & Problem Solving
    English Language Comprehension Skills


    The last examination notification of Has Examination advertisement was on 01-01-2012.Upcoming date yet to be declare.

    HAS means Himachal Administrative Service Examination and this examination is conducted by Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission(HPPSC) and this examination is conducted for admission into various position into different departments.Those who are completed their graduate degree course they are eligible to apply for this examination. Let see the eligibility criteria for this examination.

    The Applicant should have a completed degree course in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and No percentage bar required for this examination. The Applicants who are appearing in the final year of degree course may also eligible to apply for this examination.

    The Applicant must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years at the time of appearing for this examination and Upper age limits is applicable for this examination. 5 years relaxation for SC/ST categories and 3 years for OBC candidates.

    One more thing every candidate have a limitation to attempt this examination. For General candidates can attempt only 4 times and OBC candidates can attempt only 7 times and No restriction for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes examination.

    Selection Process of this examination :: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Personal Interview followed by Physical Test.
