    Institute of banking personnel selection (IBPS) is a autonomous boby who conduct common written examination for 19 Public sector bank. Ibps conduct exams twice a year for PO/MT, CLERK, ITOFFICERS.

    PO/MT-
    Eligible criteria:
    1. Must be citizen of india
    2. Must have attened 20 years of age and maximum 30 years from the month of publication of Adverticement
    3. A degree in any discipline from recognized university.

    Relaxation of age:
    SC/ST: 5YRs
    OBC: 3 YRs
    PWD: 10 YRs

    Written Examination Stucture:
    It is conducted in two part- Objective and descriptive, time alloted are 150min and 60 min respectively .
    Objective:
    Time alloted:150 min
    No of question: 250
    Total marks:225
    Paper Patter:
    1.Reasoning 50
    2.Quantitative 50
    3. Computer awareness 50
    4. General Awareness 50
    5. English 25

    Descriptive:
    Time:60minutes
    Marks: 25
    Pattern: English essay,presis, letter writing
    Application fee:450/-(general)
    And 50 for SC/ST

    IBPS PO Exam 2012 has 5 sections.Each section has 50 Questions with Multiple choice Options(Objective type).Each section has 50 Marks weight age,except English Knowledge,it has only 25 marks of weight age.In English section,Each question carry 1/2 mark.On other hand,each question will carry 1 mark in other sections.Each and every section is very crucial for candidates,if you show negligence in any one section or failed,the over all results treated as Failed.

Exam is objective in type containing 250 questions and time allowed is 2.5 hrs. For every incorrect answer one-fourth or .25 mark is deducted. You can score maximum 250 marks.

    The notification for fresh IBPS examination for clerk will be late but the notification can be obtained in the official website of IBPS i.e. www.ibps.in as and when it is announced, so be updated with the site in regular interval. In the mean time as you are interested for bank clerical post, you should prepare your self for the examination.
    ELIGIBILITY FOR IBPS CLERK:>
    Educational qualification:
    (1) You must Pass with 60% marks in 10th Class. For SC-ST-OBC-PWD-EXSM candidates are just passed.

    IBPS stands for Institute for banking personnel selection.IBPS should conducts the IBPS exam separately for bank PO and clerk.


    Here 19 banks are participating.If you crack the IBPS PO examination then they can give the score card.That score card is valid for one year for issuing date.

    The candidates who are interested in the banking sector they must fulfill the following requirements.And for Po post you have to complete the graduation and for clerk post you have to complete the Intermediate.If you fulfill those conditions you can go for banking sector.


    Eligibility for clerk:


    You have to complete the intermediate from any recognized board.
    Your age should in between 18-28 years.The upper age limit will be applicable for ST/SC/OBC candidates.
    You have the basic knowledge on computers.


    Eligibility for PO:


    You must complete the graduation from any recognized university.
    Your age should in between the 21-30 years.
    You must have the good communication skills.


    The selection procedure should be based on the following fields namely..

    IBPS(Institute of Banking Personnel Selection):

    IBPS Conducts Examinations every year for the selection of candidates in to various public sector banks and the selection procedure is mainly based on the common written examination which is common for every bank and this examination mainly contains the syllabus of the general studies and logical thinking capability.This examination is common for every banks who are participating in the selection procedure.....
    This CWE Examination is approved by the government of India which has been approved by the all the 19 banks which are participating in the examination recruitment criteria.....
    This examination is associated by the IBA and this examination approved by all the banks......
    The candidates who had been qualified in this examination are only eligible for the jobs and the selected candidates are issued the score card and these qualified candidates are further preceeded to the next round of the selection procedure.....
    There are also some eligibility criteria in order to appear for this CWE Examination,the eligibility required are
    >>You must be the citizen of India
    >>You must have attained d18 years for clerical cadre and should have attained the age of 21 years for the PO/Management trainee.and should not exceed the age of 30 years

    And you must have a minimum of Graduation from a recognized university

    And the minimum age must be 20 years

    You must have a maximum age of 28 years

    Of course there will be an Age relaxation for the reserved candidates

    You must be an Indian Citizen

    The Graduation stream may of any one
