You haven’t mentioned the post for which you are applying. The upper age limit for FCI exam is 28 years. The applicant should an Indian citizen. The qualification criteria are different for different posts. Most of the posts require candidates who have completed graduation from a recognized university. The written exam will be held in the first week of February 2012. You can apply both online and offline. You should pay an application fee of Rs.200/- by SBI Challan for online application or by CRF stamp for offline application.

the age limit mustn't exceed 25 years of age .for sc/st candidates there will be 5 years of age relaxation, and for a OBC-NCL candidates the age relaxation is 3 years.

Food Corporation of India (FCI) has issued notification 2012 for the recruitement for Assistant Grade III, II & Typist. Total number of posts are 3598. For Grade III (General & Depot) your age should be maximum 27 years and degree in any discipline from any recognized university and proficiency in computer. For Grade III (Accounts) your maximum age should be 27 years and Bachelor of Commerce from a recognized university & proficiency in computer. For Grade III (Technical) age should be 27 years & educational qualification B.Sc in Agriculture from any recognized university. OR B.Sc from recognized university with any of these subjects as Zoology/ Botany/ Bio-Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Food Science/ Microbiology. OR B.Tech/ B.E in food science & Technology/ Agricultural Engineering/ Bio-Technology and proficiency in computer.

Examination will be 22.1.2012 Assistant Grade-II (AG-II) and Typist (for Hindi Posts)
Application can be fill both online and offline.

->FCI stands for Food Corporation of India (FCI).

->This is the institute which is responsible for conducting the exam for the posts of Assistant Grade III in General, Depot, Technical and Account Cadres and Hindi Posts (AG-II and Typist).

DIFFERENT POSTS AND THE EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED FOR THEM:

AG-III (General)

You must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized University and must have a knowledge of computers

AG-III (Accounts)

You must be a bachelor in Commerce from a recognized University and must have a knowledge of computers.

AG-III (Technical)

(i)You must have done B.Sc. in Agriculture from a recognized University Or B.Sc. with any of the following subjects from a recognized University.

• Botany
• Zoology
• Bio-Technology
• Bio-Chemistry
• Microbiology
• Food Science

Or A B.Tech/BE in the following fields from a recognized University/an institution approved by AICTE. :

• Food Science
• Food Science & Technology

AG-III (Depot)

You must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University with knowledge of computers

Typist (Hindi)

1. Graduation or equivalent.
2. 30 W.P.M speed in Hindi Typing.
3. Preference will be given to the candidates knowing by-lingual typing( English and Hindi) and Computer

Age Criteria: Age limit as on 01.01.2012

• For Typist (Hindi)25 yrs
• For AG.II as 28yrs
• For Assistant Grade III in General, Depot, Technical and Account as 27 years

Pay scale: For Assistant Grade III in General, Depot, Technical and Account is Rs. 9300-22940

You have to appear in the written examination for the Selection.

The cost of Application Form is Rs 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only).
