    Details about CBI exams, pattern and notifications?

    sir, i have completed my B.Tech in information technology, i am so desperate to become a C.B.I officer .but i dont know any details regarding exams pattern and notifications so kindly help me.

    CBI stands for Central Bureau of Investigation .

    To join CBI you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year.

    Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for CBI exam.(Criminology)

    Age criteria :-

    (i) Assistant Grade & Sub Inspectors in CBI –
    Age between 20 - 27 years.
    (ii) Inspectors of CE / IT & Divisional Accountants/Auditors/ UDCs –
    Age between 18 - 27 years.
    (iii) Sub Inspectors in Central Police Forces –
    Age between 20 and 25 years.

    Selection Process for CBI Exam :-

    Preliminary Exam (Tier I).
    Mains Exam (Tier II).
    Interview.
    Medical Test.

    Dear friend,

    Central Bureau of Investigation Officer

    Eligibility- Candidates must have Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent from recognized university with ten years experience of inspection/vigilance/operational work in the field of banking. (Graduate Jobs)

    Age Limitation- Candidate’s age must not be above 56 years. Age Relaxation will be applied according to the government rules.

    Pay Scale- Candidates will recruit at Rs. 12000-16500/- (Approx)

    Recently CBI(Central Bureau of Investigation)has released the notification of recruitment for the advisor(Banking)Post.

    Eligibility
    ----------
    Candidates must have Bachelor degree in any discipline or equivalent from recognized University with 10 years experience of Inspection/Vigilance/Operational work in the field of banking.

    Age limitation:
    ----------------
    Candidates must not be above 56 years.Age relaxation will be applied according to the governemnt rules.

    Details about CBI exam

    You must be a graduate.

    Your age must be between 21 to 30 years.


    Examination Pattern -


    Part I


    Written Examination carrying- 400 marks

    Part II

    Personality Test - 100 marks.



    Paper-I

    General Intelligence and Reasoning

    General Awareness

    Numerical Ability


    Paper-II


    Language Comprehension

    Communication/Writing

    Ability Test.

    CBI exams eligibility is must have a Bachelors Degree

    To join in CBI officer you need to appear for combined graduate preliminary exam conducted by SSC

    procedure
    1.written exam
    2.interview
    3.medical

    I am complete my bca in pune univercity can I eligible for cbi in any post I am fresher ?
