In the railways there are grades for the officers and clerks.
Officers comes under the 1st grades.
And talking about the clerks so they comes under the 2nd grades.

Because Group1 and Group2 exam are included in Civil service exams.

The minimum qualification needed to apply for civil service exam is having a Degree from a reconized university.

If you have already compleated your graduation you are eligible to apply for this exam.

Civil services include IAS,IPS,IFS etc services..

For apply for this exam you need to citizen of INDIA.

Your age should not be less than 21 (or) not more than 30 years.

If you belong to SC/ST then age criteria is 21-35 and for OBC it is 21-33.

You can also apply if you are in the final year of your graduation.
