Delhi University MCA Entrance Exam

The Computer Science department of Delhi University conducts this exam for the admission of the eligible candidates for the seats offered for Master of Computer Application Course. The Computer Science department in Delhi University was started in the year 1982 and it offers a three year MCA programme. The MCA entrance test is conducted every year so as to admit the eligible candidates for this course.

Structure and Pattern of Delhi University MCA Entrance Exam

The MCA entrance examination carried out by the Delhi University includes both the objective and subjective tests. The MCA entrance test consists of the following sections

Eligibility required for Delhi University MCA Entrance Exam

The candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or its equivalent from any of the recognized colleges of the University of Delhi. The aspirant should also possess a minimum of 60% marks for their degree examination. The SC/ST candidates are subjected to a relaxation of 5%. Candidates should have studied subjects like Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Operational research for their qualifying examination. Aspirants should not exceed 20 years of age at the time of appearing this entrance test.

Application procedure of Delhi University MCA Entrance Exam

The aspirants can obtain the application forms from the official website of the Delhi University. After filling the application forms, the candidate has to send it back to the concerned authority along with a demand draft of the specified amount to “Registrar” of the Delhi University and it should be payable at Delhi. Candidates those who are falling under the general category have to pay an amount of Rs 800/- against the application fees where as the SC/ST candidates need to pay only an amount of Rs 400/- for the the form.
