dear punjab state government is going to be conducting TET from this year ,
the government of punjab and the department of school education has taken the responsibility to conduct the exam
eligibility for the PSTET
eligibility for the class 1 to 5th:-
you must be the senior secondary or equivalent with at least 50% or if you are passes or appearing in the final 2 years diploma in elementary education are also eligible.(or)
you must be the senior secondary or equivalent with at least 50% or if you are passes or appearing in the final 4 years diploma in elementary education are also eligible.(OR)
you must be the senior secondary or equivalent with at least 50% or if you are passes or appearing in the final 2 years diploma in education are also eligible.(OR)
you must be the senior secondary or equivalent with at least 50% or if you are passes or appearing in the final 4 years bachelor elementary education are also eligible
minimum qualification for the classes 6-8
you must have B.A/B.SC if you are passed or appearing in the final two years diploma in elementary education are also eligible.
(or)
you must have B.A/B.SC with at least 50% of marks and if you are passed or appearing in 1 year bachelor in education are also eligible.
you may have the senior secondary or equivalent with at least 50% or if you are passes or appearing in the final 4 years in

• B.SC. ED. TO GET ELIGIBLE.

syllabus
paper-1 for classes 1-5

• child development and pedagog carries 30 marks,
• language-1 carries 30 marks,
• language-2 carries 30 marks,
• environmental studies carries 30 marks,

questions will come in multiple type questions.
paper-2 for classes 6-8

• child development and pedagog carries 30 marks,(compulsory)
• language-1 carries 30 marks,(compulsory)
• language-2 carries 30 marks,(compulsory)
• (a)for mathematics and science teachers carries 60 marks,
• (b) for social studies and social science teachers carries 60 marks,
• (c)for other carries 60 marks.
