what you need to apply:
Eligibility for AIBE exam:
You can apply to take the All India Bar Examination only after you have enrolled as an advocate with a State Bar Council under the section 24 of advocates act 1961.
you will have to submit the proof along with the application form.


AIBE(All Indian Bar Exam ) syllabus:

first 11 subjects for category 1 and after 11 subjects for category 2:




AIBE exam dates: aibe exam held two times in the year in the month of feb and november.
date will be announced after issued the application form.

There is no limit to the number of times you can appear for the All India Bar Examination.

The All Indian Examination will be conducted in nine languages, and advocates can choose to take the examination in any one of these nine languages, which are: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Oriya, and English.

The minimum required score to clear the All India Bar Examination is 40% (that is, 40 out of 100). There is no negative marking in the All India Bar Examination.

dear AIBE(all india bar examination) , this examiantion is to test your analytical abilities and basic knowledge of law,this exam is counducted first in the year 2010, hsi exam is counducted two times in a year from 2010 to practise law .
AIBE eligibility details
you have to enroll as an advocate unders section 24 of the advocates act ,1961 with application form with rs-1300 as fees to appear the all india bar examination,

syllabus
teh subjects are divided in to two categories,
category -1

• alternative dispute resolution consists of 7 questions,
• civil procedure code and limitation act consists of 7 questions,
• constitutional law consists of 7 questions,,
• contract law, including specific relief,special contracts,and negotiable instrumnets consists of 7 questions,
• criminal law-1,the indian penal code consists of 7 questions,
• crimminal procedures consists of 7 questions,
• drafting,pleading and conveyancing consists of 7 questions,
• evidence consists of 7 questions,
• jurisprudence consists of 7 questions,
• professional ethics and teh professional code of conduct for advocates consists of 7 questions,
• property law consists of 7 questions,

category -2

• administrative law,
• company law,
• environment law,
• family law,
• human rights law,
• labour and industrial law,
• law of tort,including vehicle accidents,and consumer protection law,
• principles of taxation law,
• public international law,

you have to attempt 23 questions from teh category -2
this exam is counducted in 9 languages in india

• hindi,
• english,
• bengali,
• gujrathi,
• oriya,
• telugu,
• marathi,
• kannada,
• and tamil.

this exam is counducted in january 8,2012 and teh nest exam date is to be declared soon.

I am a LL.B. pass graduate of 2010-2011. As per the latest press release of bci the aibe exam is now mandatory for the law graduates from this year 2012 only. The release is ambiguous. Can anyone provide proper, trustworthy and reliable clarification ?
