The information is regarding the IERT exam is mentioned below:

Structure & Pattern:

The exam will consist of topics from mathematics, biology and science.

The exam is a objective type exam with multiple choices.

For every wrong answer there is negative marking for every correct answer 4 marks will be awarded.

The eligibility criteria for the exam is that you must have completed 10 +2 with a background in science.

Application form:

The application form can be obtained from the institution.The price of the form is 1100 rupees.You can get the form through post by sending DD of 1150 rupees to the name of the Director of IERT.

The last date for submission of form is 19th April 2011.The candidate will be charged a fine of 500 rupees for late submission.

IERT stands for Institute of Engineering & Rural Technology and it is conducted by Institute of Engineering & Rural Technology for the admission of candidates for the Engineering course in engineering and Rural technology.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION NEEDED:

->You must have passed the 10+2 class from any recognized Board.

->You must have taken SCIENCE STREAM in 11th and 12th class.

AGE CRITERIA:

You must be above an age of 17 years to sit for the IERT Exam.

->SCHEME OF THE EXAMINATION:

*There will be one paper conducted of a duration of 3 hours.

*The syllabus of the paper will be from the subjects MATHEMATICS,BIOLOGY AND SCIENCE.

*The paper will be of Mutiple choice type questions.

*There is negative marking in the IERT exam. There is negative marking for erroneous answers. Every correct answer will be awarded 4 marks.

->PROCEDURE TO FILL THE FORM:

You can collect the admission form from the institute or by asking them to send by post.

The Cost of Admission form is Rs.1100 and If you wanted to have it by post then you have to make a DD of Rs 1150 and Then send it to the below given address.

The DD must be made in the name of the Director I.E.R.T. The last date for the submission of the form is on the 19th of April, 2011.

The late fees for the admission from submission is Rs.500 in addition to cost of the application.
