but demands high interest in mathematics and physics...............

Engineering courses are preferred by those who are good in maths and desire to make career in engineering.It is a four year full course applied by 12 passed students or by diploma students.Engineering have several branches as-civil engineering,mechanical,chemical,computer science,it,electronics and telecommunication engineerings,etc.All the branches have good scope,you need to decide your interest where you want to make career.To get admission in b.tech you have to give several entrance exams as aieee,uptu,vit,mptu,iit-jee,etc. These are the comptitive exams. Eligiblity-Eligiblity for such entrance exams is different but generaly a candidate must had scored minimum 50-60 percent marks in pcm.

so i guess so you will apply for these and you will get admission in those courses

my friend engineering is itself a very good field and all its branches are extra ordinary in providing you top of the benefits in future if u make a well use of it with full strength, capacity, determination and hard work..

But according to me the best ones are the electronics and communication or machenical or electrical..
Let me tell u that these three fields are free from the trend of recession unlike many other like IT which is having effect of market fluctuations..

Also in ECE u get very good jobs universally like the radio, television offices, server controller, in top mnc's like acer, lenovo, wipro,etc as the electronics head, in top research areas for designing the models and machinery for telecommunication,etc..

In machenical field u get good jobs in govt sector like ceramics industry, automobile industry, railways, roadways, etc,.

The three streams - Electronics, computer science & mechanical are ever green in terms of employment opportunities. There is maximum competition for these three branches in every college.
But take in account your interest also while selecting branch rather than only placements.
