you should go for mechanical or electrical branch. also for getting high chances you should do enginerring from good college.

you can get entry to these college from many exam like iit-jee,aieee,bitsat,viteee and many more. also there is another test for direct entry to isro collreg names as isat. it tis a tough test . compitition is very high in this test because vaccancies are only acout 100. sallybus is same as of iitjee and cbse.
so best of luck for your future work hard and get into best collrgr of india.

Thumbs up Re: Which courses to choose in engineering to become a space scientist in research center?

    Hi friend,

Well friend, there are many Trades in India but only few of them leads to Space scientist.

Well, a space scientist mostly needs Aero-sapce engineering to be a Space scientist or some other core trade like :

    >> ECE

    >> EEE

    >> CSE

There are many institutes which intakes for becoming a space scientist like :

    >> BAARC

    >> ISRO

There's one examination which takes you to ISRO :

    >> ISAT

    Eligibility for ISAT :

    >> You must have atleast 70% marks in PCM

    >> YOu must have atleast 70% marks as aggregate

    >> Attempts allowed 2

    >> Normal Reserervations allowed .

Total no. of Seat = 156,

    Website for IIST : iist.ac.in

    Best of Luck!!

    Hope it helps!!

    Hi,
many organizations like ISRO(Indian Space Of Research Organization)/ NASA are space research organization which will hire engineering graduates

it is better if you choose mechanical as your stream in engineering because there are lots of vacancies for this
many other branch that you can opt for and which have good cope in spac research are
    computer science
    informationm technology
    electonics

age limit is below 35 years and having 65% as aggregate in graduation
it is better if you qualify GATE it will help you a lot
    thank you
