Which Courses to choose after B.Com like B.Ed, Banking exams or M.Com?

I am studying in class 12( MEC ) Commerce group. I'm planning to do B.com. I wanted to know whether I can go for B.Ed or banking exams. I mean is it suitable and is it in demand? Please advise me are there any other options available like M.Com or any other courses.

Re: Which Courses to choose after B.Com like B.Ed, Banking exams or M.Com?

Surely you must pursue B.Com if you plan to continue in this field. But after that you need to decide what kind of a job you would like to do. You can decide now based on the subjects of your interest now. Like if you like accountancy then along with graduation you must consider doing courses like CA, ICWA. If law seems interesting the CS is more appropriate. You are eligible to apply for these courses right after your 12th standard. If you find the banking sector appealing then after your graduation you can appear for the bank entrance exams. M.Com is suitable if you plan to go into the teaching field. If you are interested in a Management role then certainly MBA is an option to consider.

Of course, all these courses are really good options. There are other courses also, that you can pursue once you complete your XII. If you want to continue your studies, you can opt the ICWA foundation, Chartered Accountancy or Chartered Financial Analyst course. Pursuing the BCA or BBA course may help you to go for higher studies like MCA and MBA. If you are interested in law, you can choose the 5-year LLB course. The Company Secretary course in another good option that you can opt for. If you want to become a teacher, you have to pursue the B.Ed course. Most of them prefer studying Bachelors’ course in Commerce once they complete their intermediate course. You can study any of these courses.

you can definitely go for higher studies in the same field of study as that of your +2, as it provides you with all your clear and crisp fundamentals that can further be used for application in your bachelors. therefore, B.Com is always a safe option. but instead of doing regular B.Com, do it with some specialization like B.Com in Computer applications, Advertising, etc, depending upon your interests, as this may serve you with better career prospects. after that you can have numerous options including the banking exams, which may or may not get cleared in the very 1st attempt, so side by side you can take those exams, but should definitely go for Masters in your core field of study i.e. M.Com in the same.
    choose well....all the best!!!

If you have interest in b.ed. only then you should do that first...if not that then m.com and m.b.a. will provide you more options and good opportunities.

Re: Which Courses to choose after B.Com like B.Ed, Banking exams or M.Com?

You should definitely go for B.com if you are highly interested in the field of commerce. after that , you can do B.Ed if you want to make career in the field of teaching then you should do B.Ed . if you
are interested in the field of government jobs especially banks in reputed institutions, then you should go for banking exams. the other option for you is to do M.com and then you can do PhD or the
other way round is to give NET exam and do lectureship in a reputed college. there is a chance for a bright career in this direction.

Re: Which Courses to choose after B.Com like B.Ed, Banking exams or M.Com?

You should go on to take admission in Bcom. On compleation of your Bcom course
you can appear for Bank PO exams. The eligibility for bank PO is
a graduation degree. Bank Probationary officer is a very lucrative
career option. It is a very ggod option for you.
You can also go for B.Ed if you are intrested in teaching line.
But I would advice you to go for Bank PO as compared to B.Ed.
There is also a option for higher education like Mcom, MIB or MBA.
Out of these MBA is the best option as MBA is the most in demand today.

Re: Which Courses to choose after B.Com like B.Ed, Banking exams or M.Com?

All the options mentioned by you that are - banking, B.Ed and M.Com have their own relevance and importance in different sectors. The various important points related
to these three options can be elaborated as follows:-
    1)B.Ed-
This is a course which is mainly concerned with teaching profession. This course enables a student to acquire all that knowledge which is required to do a job of
a teacher. Teaching is a profession that requires a candidate to be wiling as well as able to impart knowledge to the students.
It is a profession that is viewed as a great occupation in our country. Teachers are given due respect in our country and it is a dignified position.

    2)Banking exams-
The banking sector is full of good opportunities. There are many different posts available in banks for example- bank probational officer, executive, bank clerk,
specialist officer, etc. This sector can also offer you a good remuneration in accordance to your qualification.
Besides this there is also a scope for promotion. For example if you qualified through the probational officer exam, then if you worked really well, you may be promoted
to the post of Assistant manager and it may be possible that after some time, as a result of your good efforts, you may be promoted to the post of Manager, or branch
    manager.

A new pattern has been introduced in the banking sector. Common banking exam has been introduced and this is an exam through which vacancies in each and
every bank would be filled. There are a number of benefits offered for the students.

They are not required to fill the form of a number of banks, they have to fill only a single form. And so a lot of money would be saved by them in this manner. But for
the appointment of employees in SBI(State Bank of India), a separate exam would be conducted .Secondly , students would be much more benefited as more number of
students would get employment in different banks.Earlier a certain number of intelligent students who used to apply for a number of exams, were selected in each and
every exam and thus many of the students were not able to get employment in any bank.

    3)M.Com-
As you have already completed B.com or graduation in commerce. you would be much more comfortable with this course. Many students who want to move
ahead in commerce field often pursue this course. There are a number of jobs which may be offered to a student after completing this course.
For example- tax consultant, senior accountant, assistant accountant, audit assistant, financial advisor, etc.

Many commerce students often go for lectureship. For that purpose, they need to appear for exams such as NET or SET which can make them eligible to apply
for the post of a lecturer in any government or private college.
Or even after clearing this exam you could proceed with your studies for example you can pursue P.Hd in finance, etc
