Should i go for MS in Networking in US but i dont want to stay there after completing my MS. I want to do settle in Mumbai. Can I get a good job, salary as well as good timing or should I go for CISCO certifications by doing job simultaneously. I don't want to do. US as a country is well know for providing good education especially higher studies. But if you plan to study there it will be good to stay back there at least till you meet all your liabilities. There will be a vast difference in terms of salary in India and in US. Since you would like to settle down in Mumbai it would be good to do a course from here itself. Also more the qualification more easier it is for you to grow in terms of your career. CISCO certification will help you in this. Also since you are interested in networking going in for job and studying part time will be good. You will gain experience and qualification at the same time. All this as long as you can balance both your job and studies together.

There are many colleges and universities offering higher studies courses in the field of networking. It would be ideal if you choose to do M.Tech. This involves the study of different network technology and internet programming. There are lots of career opportunities for students who finish their M.Tech. If you want to donít want settle abroad then it is better that you do your courses in India. You can go for Ph.D if you wish after M.Tech. You can also do additional certification courses if you feel necessary. Make sure you do your M.Tech from a reputed college. The name of the college does have huge impact in the job industry. You can choose any of the following courses, M.Tech. Computer Aided Design (CAD / CAM), M.Tech. Computer and Communication Engineering, M.Tech. Computer System and Networking, M.Tech. Network and Internet Engineering, M.Tech. Network Engineering, M.Tech. Soft computing and Machine Learning, Ph.D. Computer Science and Engineering etc.

For the future in Mumbai you have to gain knowledge about the Business administration or your creativity skills should be good enough to enter into the animation world.
These two courses will make you settle very well in Mumbai.
For your computer or networking field the hub is Banglore. If you have intrest in this field then with a little bit knowledge of programming and database you can settle easily in Banglore.
