It is nice to see your aspiration to become a Charted accountant. You need to select
commerce after your 10 th standard to become a Charted accountant. After 10th you will
be eligible to sit in the Common proficiency test(CPT), which is the entrance to charted
accountancy course. The eligibility for CPT is taht the student must have passed 10+2.
As such even science students , that means students who had science in 10+2 are also
eligible to take CPT test.So you can even select science after 10 th at 10+2. But if
you have a clear vision that you will be going for charted accountancy only then you should
select commerce after 10 th class in 10+2.As this will help you to crack the CPT exam.
Also at 10+2 also select mathematics as a optional subject as it will help you later
in cracking CPT as in CPT mathematics section is also there. Hence it would be wise to select
mathematics as this will again help you in cracking the CPT exam.

    Dear friend,
You can take MEC course if you are highly interested to become CA.
If you not that much interested you can also take MPC and after that you need to write CA-CPT exam.
After passing this exam, you will study for a period of 3.5 years and you will get a job as Charted Accountant.

    All the best
