Re: Which course should I select between M.Tech and M.B.A after completing B.Tech in Mechanical engineering to get a good salaried job?

    Hello My Dear Friend,

My Suggestion is try to go for MBA Course after completing Engineering Course. If You go for M.Tech Course then you can't get more salaries but it will be possible with MBA Course. But it will be possible only when you do MBA Course from the top Business Schools. There are plenty Of Business Schools in India.

    Top Business Schools In India;

    1.Indian Institute of management-Ahmadabad
    2.Management development institute-Gurgaon
    3.Xaviour Labour relations Institute-Jamshedpur
    4.Faculty Management studies-Delhi
    5.National Institute of Industrial Engineering-Mumbai
6.SP Jain institute of management and Research-Mumbai
7.Indian institute of foreign Trade-New Delhi
    8.Institute of Management Technology-Ghaziabad
    9.Shailesh Mehta school of Management,IIT-mumbai
    10.Xaviour Institute of Management-Mumbai

If you get more than 96 percentile in the CAT entrance examination then you will be having chance to get admission in all the above business schools.

CAT is a common entrance test to be conducted by IIMs to get admissions in to their management programs. This is a online test and it is a national wide entrance test, where you should write the entrance test in on line.almost all the business schools in India are accepting CAT score.CAT is a difficulty entrance test in India.Appearing candidates are also very high for CAT entrance test. This test is conducted once in a year.To apply for CAT entrance test then you must be completed your graduation from recognized university with 50% of marks and if you are belonging to SC and ST then 45% of marks are enough.

    There are plenty Of Specializations are available for MBA Course in India,Some of the Good Specializations for MBA course ;

    Hi,

    IN TERMS OF SALARY::::::::

    >>In today's scenario it has been a convention that no matter how techie a person is,ho much salary he earns,
there is always a MANAGER CONTROLLING A GROUP OF ENGINEERS UNDER HIM.

    >>So always a manager of a company has more salary in a company.

    REQUIREMENTS:::::::::::::

    >>In terms of requirement in current competitive scenario demand and availability of ENGINEER CUM MANAGER has raised to its height.

    >>So in order to survive and succeed one for sure must have a MBA after BTECH or even after BTECH+MTECH.

    Decide smartly.

    Best of luck

hi in my point of views you have to choose M.Tech.
because now a days Mtech holder are in popular line and field. after completing btech
many college will prefer you this degree

and another positive points if you are doing job so after completion of MTech you will get the promotion

    so do it well

    Thanks

    dear friend

M.tech and MBA both are good course
and it is totally depend on you and your interest
I thing will be better if you do M.tech because it is your related course
for M.tech you have to qualify GATE exam
if you do more then 98% score then you can get chance on IITs college
    like
    IIT-kgp
    IIT-kanpur
    IIT-Delhi
    IIT-mumbai

or if you score above 95% then you can get chance on NITs college

after completing M.tech you will have more option

MBA is not bad if you want to do MBA then you have to qualify CAT ,MAT,XAT...............like that entrance exam
    now your choice
    have a good day

    Hi
I have completed B.E. Computer Science..
    My advice is that
Both M.tech and MBA is very good course

    For M.tech
You will have to pass GATE examination.GATE score card is compulsory to take admission in Mtech college..
IIT College of india are best for Mtech like
    IIT kanpur
    IIT bombay
    IIT roorkee
    IIT delhi
    IIT Indore
    IIT chennai
if you got this college then you must choose M.tech..
    Else
    For MBA
Duration of MBA is 2 years
MBA is also good course if you want to change your way then you will have to go for MBA.
    MBA is for management course.
For admission in MBA you must pass CAT exam.
IIM college of india are best for MBA.

Re: Which course should I select between M.Tech and M.B.A after completing B.Tech in Mechanical engineering to get a good salaried job?

The best between MBA and M'tech is M'tech after your B'tech .

Because M'tech fetches you Masters Degree and great technical Knowledge , which cannot be gained through MBA.

    M.Tech -- Master of Technology

This is 2 years Post Graduation course .

There are many M.Tech specializations in Mechanical Engineering available for you :-

    Thermal Engineering
    Computer Integrated Manufacturing
    Automobile Engineering
    Manufacturing Engineering
    Material Technology
    Industrial Engineering
    Product Design and Development
    Industrial Safety Engineering

For getting into this you need to appear for the entrance examination called GATE .

    >>The applications for GATE 2012 has been already ended in the month of Nov 2011.

    >>So you can apply for GATE 2013 whose notifications will be released in the month of Sept 2012 .

    >>The GATE test duration is 3 hours. There are 65 questions with a maximum of 100 marks.

The top M'tech Colleges in India are :

Birla Institute Of technology, Pilani campus, Goa campus
University of Delhi has two M.Tech colleges namely Delhi College of Engineering and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology
    Indra Prasth Viswa Vidyalaya
    Indian School Of Mines, Dhanbad
Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University
    BIT, Mesra, Ranchi
College of Enginering , Anna University
University college of engineering, Osmania University
    IIIT-Allahabad
    Jamia Milia Islamia, New delhi
Motilal Nehru National Institute Of Technology, Allahabad
Institute Of technology, Nirma University, Ahmedabad
Malviya National Institute Of Technology, Bhopal
    MIT, Pune

    Good Luck !!

Re: Which course should I select between M.Tech and M.B.A after completing B.Tech in Mechanical engineering to get a good salaried job?

According to me you should go for higher study ,I mean Master degree and
then if you can Ph.D in your subject.

You can go for M.Tech or MBA,as your choice.

According to me you should go for Master degree in Computer Sc.'s various subjects .
Then you can gather more and more knowledge in your base subject.
Then you can apply various company or govt sectors with higher salary than B.Tech.

There are so many institutes offering M.Tech in Computer Sc. such as:

    IIT Kanpur

    IIT Kharagpur

    IIT Bombay

    IIT Madras

    IIT Delhi

    BITS Pilani

    IIT Roorkee

    IT-BHU

    IIT Guwahati

    College of Engg, Anna University

Jadavpur University, Faculty of Engg & Tech

    Haldia Institute of Technology(HIT)

    Institute of Engineering and Management(IEM)

    Heritage Institute of Technology(HIT)

    Dr.B.C.Roy Engineering college.

MBA is another line of study, its a business line.

You can choose as your wish.

    Dear Aspirant ,

MBA and M-tech Are the two Most Famous further study Boom. Both have become high in Demand.

This is due to the reason of High Competition.

If you want a Technical Field go for M-Tech

Or else if you want a Managerial Field go for MBA

To Pursue M-Tech, Gate is the famous one.there are other exams also.

To Pursue MBA you ave to qualify CAT, MAT, XAT etc.

I would Say Both are the Best One, MBA is better than M-Tech to Small Extent.

    All the Best.
