    To become an IPS Officer you can pursue any Graduate Course you like the most,as there is no restrictions by UPSC.

    IPS(Indian Police Service)entrance examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission among the Indian nationals every year.

    IPS ELIGIBILITY:-

    1.Any Graduate or a final year candidate from the recognized University can write UPSC IPS entrance exam.

    2.The AGE Eligibility: General: 21-30 years, relaxations are there OBC: 3 years, S/C S/T : 5 years, PWD: 10 years.

    3.Nationality: Indian(Male/Female both can write IPS exam)

    4.Attempts: General: 4 attempts, OBC: 7 attempts. S/C S/T & W/D: No limit.

    Candidates to clear Preliminary/Mains/physical/medical/interview to get selection as per merits.

    Hi friend,

    I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to become I.P.S officer of B.A 1st year.
    Graduation completed candidates are eligible to become I.P.S officer.But Final year candidates are also eligible.

    I.P.S stands for Indian Police Service. This exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission once in a year.

    ELIGIBILITY:

    Candidate should complete the graduation from any recognized university.

    Candidate on minimum percentage required to this exam.

    Their age limit should be between 21 to 30 years. Upper age relaxation applicable. 3 years for O.B.C and 5 years for S.C/S.T candidates.

    Both male and female candidates are eligible for this exam. But candidate should be citizen of India.

    No. Of attempts:

    4 attempts for General Category.
    7 attempts for O.B.C category.
    No limit of attempts for the s.c/st categories.

    Selection Process:

    Preliminary Exam

    Main Exam

    Personal Interview

    IPS Stands for Indian Police Services.It is conducted by Union Public Service Commission through Civil Services in the every year.

    If you have completed Graduation in any discipline from recognized university are eligible for IPS exam.There is no marks criteria.Final year student are applicable for IPS Exam.

    Age Criteria:-

    For General: 21 to 30 years
    For OBC: 21 to 33 years
    For SC/ST: 21 to 35 years

    No. of Attempts:-

    For General: 3
    For OBC: 7
    For SC/ST: No Restriction

    IPS exam is consist of 3 process - Preliminary Exam . Mains Exam and Personal Interview .If you have completed 1st round then you are eligible for next round.

    Hello friend

    You can persue any of the degree course

    You can be from any stream in degree

    The age limit for IPS is 21 - 30 years

    The number of attempts in the exams is

    for OC's - 4 times

    for BC's - 7 times

    for SC, ST - no restrictions
