This course is basically for those who are interested in teaching young children. It helps them to understand how to impart training and also how make learning a pleasure. Those who have completed 12th standard can apply for this course. It is a must to have at least 50% marks to apply. Even those with a higher qualification are allowed to appear for the course. In most of the institutes there will be an entrance test. Normally the duration of the course is 2 years. There are many Government and Private institutes imparting training in this area. The fees will be comparatively less in Government institutes.

The Junior Basic Training courses are carried out in various states all over India. The JBT courses will have duration of two years. As to join the JBT course candidates need to pass the common entrance test. The basic eligibility for the course is to have a pass in the 12th board exam. In some of the state the minimum percentage required to join the course is to have more than 50%. Candidates who have a bachelors degree is required to have a minimum percentage of 45% of marks. The age of the candidates must be in between 17 years to 28 years. The candidates in the reservation category will have an age relaxation up to 5 years. The JBT course is offered in various government as well as private institutions. The fee structure of the BT course will vary according to the institution.

For being eligible for the JBT you should have the following minimum qualification.:\
-12th from agovernment board with at least 50% of marks in aggregrate.
-Your age should be not more than 28 years.
-relaxation in the upper age limit is there for the reserved category students.
-This year JBT is going to be taken place on 14th April.

JBT stands for Junior Basic Training Course..
JBT course is for teaching young children
JBT is 2 years full time program
