Itís very difficult to find that which course is better because both are good at there own place and both are on the high demand or both have a good jobs. So now itís your inertest that from which side you have completed your graduation.

You will get a job in the education department, banks, railway, defence services, police etc.

Re: Which course between B.Sc and B.Com is good to get a govt job?

There is no such criteria for getting a job in an government entity. You can pursue B.Sc or B.Com according to your interests and potential.
B.Sc is a course which is generally opted by people from science background and this course is available in different disciplines for example- B.Sc in chemistry, B.Sc in Physics,
B.Sc in zoology, B.Sc in Botany, etc.So, you can choose any particular field according to your personal interests and after judging which particular field attracts your
    attention.

B.Com is a course which is generally opted by students from commerce background and this course enables a student to acquire a lot of knowledge about a number of
diverse subjects. Now as far as government jobs are concerned, they are available for students from both commerce as well as science fields.

There are many colleges in India that offer both of these courses but only some of them have a reputation of providing a valuable degree. So, before selecting a college
you must try to analyse all the aspects of that college and then you should weigh all the prons and cons and after all of these processes you must select that college.

Apart from that there are two important points which must be considered. These points can be explained as follows:
    1)Reputation of the college-
You are more likely to get a good government job if you completed your course from a good private or government college. But for that purpose you need to satisfy all the
requirements which are required to be fulfilled to get a seat in that college for example- percentage requirement, documents to be submitted, etc.

2)You must try to acquire as much practical knowledge and personality traits as possible-
It is very essential to develop key personalty traits to get a good job. Some examples can be personal grooming, leadership skills, intelligence, strong analytical skills,
ability to stay calm in difficult times, communication capabilities, decision making skills, etc.

Both courses have their importance to serve for government jobs. For government jobs only requires any graduation from a recognized university. If you choose B.sc then that will give you an extra advantage for applying into electronics related government jobs. And with B.com you can apply for bank, railways and many more government jobs. so from my opinion both the courses are quite good to appy for future growth.

Re: Which course between B.Sc and B.Com is good to get a govt job?

I think if you want to get a Govt Job then i think the best one is banking Sector Jobs.
And for banking sector jobs the minimum qualification required is Graduation with 60% marks.
So i think you can choose any of B.Com as well as BSc.
Both are good options and both have equal opportunities But if you want to take a Banking sector Job then i think you should go for B.com course as B.Com is Management course and it helps to crack Banks exam.
So in my opinion you have to go for B.Com .

Re: Which course between B.Sc and B.Com is good to get a govt job?

    Hi friend,

You can't compare both B.Sc and B.Com because for government jobs there is not different criteria for B.Sc and B.Com student . Basic criteria for any student for government jobs is given below......

    Govt Job criteria
    • Student should have graduate from any recognized university.
    • Student should be Indian for being eligible.
    • Some jobs require aggregate in graduation eligibility for job.

So , overall there is no difference in B.Sc and B.Com to get a govt Job.

    Good Luck..!!
