hii there is much difference between this too JAVA is an programmin language used in the mobile softwares like in the games , and other applications in the phone. It is much in demand this days, many of the top software companies like the wipro, tcs, hcl,hp are working there on the JAVA applications, and they are recruiting the new freshers and experinced candidates for this job.The salary would be intially 20000 for an fresher lots of good learning is there , and applied in most of the, many companies look for thr JAVA learners.

DOT NET is used because you get stuff done faster-building stuff is easier.what you build runs faster and reliably.
DOT NET is used becauase it runs faster than the JAVA more and more applications run faster and with ease , with the higher realiability.also the common language runtime does the lots of work, often the real time application will run faster, and it is better managed in the DOT NET, hence used many companies used and there in good demand too.

ypou can the learn JAVA or DOT NET which one you like most can be learnable from the compueter institute like the NIIT where they will take a minimum of 4 months to complete and charge 30000 for the course.

    Dear friend,

you know 15 year ago all the works of the IT department was based on the .NET, and the work done was 70% in the .net and 30% was for the others. but in these days the java is very popular, almost all the coding and the designing are based on the java language. the .net is not popular now.

so the java is the best language. it is a platform independent language, it is also a oop language.

it generate a byte code which is platform independent file. it can be run on any platform so this is a simple language.

so you should choose java language.

    best of luck.

Both courses are so good. Its totally depend on your interest. You can choose any one of them.Todays world both are so much scope and also so much requirment for both programmers. In todays world java application are used in mobile application. So its very good option to choose java course.Java programming language used in many other applicaitons. If you have knowldge about C and C++ language then its easy to learn java language.

If you have knowldge in web designing then .Net is the best option. Its also a very good programming language.Mainly its used in web applications. So you can also choose this option.

    All the best.

Thumbs up Re: Which course is best between .NET and JAVA for a B.E(ECE) Graduate in order to get into IT Sector?

    Ans:

1.Java & .NET both are programming languages

2.What ever may be the course in B.Tech/ B.E every one with some logical thinking can easily adopt JAVA or .NET

3.There is many variations are in between JAVA and .NET

4.NET is easy to learn than Java

5.But JAVA is more secured than .NET, in many sectors like banking, govt. related sectors needs protect highly confidential data, there we use only Java

6.Even though many software projects are comes from Banking sector so Java has bright future than .NET

7.Java is two types Core Java(Fundamentals) and Advance Java(JDBC,JSP,STUTS)

    8..NET is also two types asp.net & vb.net

9.Finally The one who knows JAVA very well can learn ,NET in few days its not a big deal

10.In my opinion JAVA has good scope over .NET but it is quite tougher than .NET

Re: Which course is best between .NET and JAVA for a B.E(ECE) Graduate in order to get into IT Sector?

    Hello sir,

They both have an extensive library that accomplish most tasks.
.Net is easier to learn. Java is more widely used.
I hear .NET (C#) is more light weight.
Many colleges carry Java intensive courses, because many corporations use it.
Though .NET is very desirable..you can go for java as many corporations use it..
Java has more scope than .NET

If you are a fresher, concentrate on basics that are taught during your academics than going for new courses and wasting time.
Because companies dont expect much from a fresher than basics.Take a good decision.

    Gud Luck!!
