thanxx for asking your query.....yes yoy r right..in BE maths is der..but its not hard..der are so many students in BE ,dey dont know anything in maths,.but dey are doing BE.,,.its not a question of maths ,that you are not well in maths..therefore u r not doing BE,,in maths practice is what ,which is most necessarily required..and the most mportant thing is your interest..please think seriously about your study,,what do you want to do?? and remember one thing.." NOTHING IS SIMPLE....WE HAVE TO MAKE IT SIMPLE WTH OUR EFFORTS"..I am telling this to you,,as i am doing BE civil engg..2nd year..and i am also not good in maths..but now its the most easiest subject for me..
BEST OF LUCK for your results.....

you are poor in maths so you should go for B.Sc.
But you are interested in Biotechnology as you said then i think you should do your work with your interest.
you should choose yourself because both of these are good and can provide you a great career.

If you are interested in the engineering field, you can pursue it. B.Sc biotechnology is also a good option. However, it is good to take engineering than B.Sc. The qualification of a pass in HSC (10+2) with science group is required. Passing the same from a reputed board is required. Once you get good score in the CET, you can study the engineering in top institutes. Some of the best colleges are IIT, NIT, Bits Pilani etc. After the program you can work in research and development field. There are possible options in the private as well as government sector. You can study the post graduation in the same stream to improve your career.

if you are poor at the mathematics then according to me you should choose the B.Sc with the BIOLOGY that would be good for you as your interest is very much in that subject
after doing that you can apply for the various govt jobs or you can go for the higher education

Bettre you go for Bsc Biotechnology... because In BE biotechnology you will have to study maths for minimum 4 sems ,and as you said you are weak in Maths ..and Now in market there is great need of Bsc Biotechnology. Now a days ,Companies are taking Bsc compare to BE.

Well dear your Mathematics is not strong, not to worry for that. For making a career in Biology related engineering fields like- Biotechnology, Biomedical, Bioinformatics, Genetics etc. if candidate even doesn't have Mathematics, its not to worry. After getting into Bachelor or even engineering of these field Mathematics has not much importance, Biotechnology is purely Biology, Physics and Chemistry based subject with very less application of Mathematics.

Even candidate who doesn't have Mathematics in +2 can also study Biotechnology Engineering. Only the mandatory subjects are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Yeah 80% asks for Mathematics also if you want to opt for Biotechnology Engineering, but rest of 20% doesn't even ponder about having Mathematics in +2. And some of biggest examples are VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology) and KIIT University. Candidate having 60% in PCB can appear for VITEEE and pursue Biotechnology and other biology related Engineering. Similarly candidates having 50% in PCB can compete for PCB in KIITEE.

Re: Which Course is best among B.Sc , B.E if I'm Poor at Maths but interested in Biotechnology ?

First of all if you are not comfortable with Maths, then studying BE can be a problem. Because in the First year course
You will have to study Mathematics. In the subsequent years you will be studying subjects where lot of mathematics will be involved
in steams like Electronics and comm., electrical, mechanical, and computers.

If you want to study Biotechnology , then you should go for it. It is a job oriented course.
And if you look at the 3 year syllabus of Bsc - Boitechnology, then you will see that you will be studying mostly, Biology and chemistry.

Re: Which Course is best among B.Sc , B.E if I'm Poor at Maths but interested in Biotechnology ?

i would appreciate your introspection that you very well know that mathematics is not your cup of tea. so, it is definitely going to be a big hindrance if you pursue your academics in any maths based subject.
and you are right that B.E. is strongly mathematics dominated.
so you better opt for biotechnology as it is a very upcoming field for the next 50 years atleast. after that you can pursue MTech and can also go abroad, as it is highly in demand there.
other than this, you can opt for various other biological courses like biochemistry, microbiology, genetics, bioinformatics, nursing, pharmacy. etc.
    choose prudently.....all the best!!!!!

btech biotechnology is better than bsc in biotechnology but as you are saying that you are weak at maths i would suggest you to go for bsc because in btech the first year has maths which is quite difficult to pass but if you can improve maths then you should go for btech because much more authentic then bsc

    Hi,
BE is really a good one to opt. Maths is not dam vital factor. You have that subject only in first year. So my advise is to go for B.E. There are many career opportunities in engineering field.
