Which Country among Australia and USA is better for MS course in Mechanical Engineering after completing B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering?

    Hi,
This is Kapil Kapoor and i have done B-Tech in Mechanical engineering. Presently, i am working as an Assistant mechanical engineer in Kuwait from last 2 years and 7 months. Planning to do MS from Australia, is it better to do it from USA rather than Australia?

The Both country's are Provided with the Best university's ,
But its the matter of Budget that could be, and the more recruitment's of both the country's would matter ,
The most and best option to choose that suggest is USA .

    GOOD MORNING
it's better to do mechanical m.s courses from USA because once after completion your graduation from any institute the certificate weighs a lot of importance in present generation competition and persons who study mech. enng in australia have lot of scope getting a job in mechanical stream when compared with USA. So my choice is to go opt for australia and complete your graduation. If you're interested in australia you can also opt for australia for further studies. but when compared with USA chances for getting a job in australia in mechanical is more.

If you are planning to do MS, then i advice to do it from either USA or some European countries, most of the top engineering institutes are in these countries only like MIT, Princeton, Stanford, University of California, Imperial college of London.
Even though there are many fellowships for higher studies in these countries , but most of them provide MS+ Phd course.
Also please refer HT horizon & Education times MS programs & Scholarships.

haiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, usa had the top colleges in ms This is the list of the best Colleges and Universities in the United States of America for Mechanical Engineering. Amongst these colleges and universities are some of the world's schools such as the MIT, Stanford, University of California, Berkeley and CALTECH. The order in which the colleges are listed on the site are quite representative of their rankings. However, the order should not be strictly construed to be rankings assigned to these schools. The order may vary from that listed by other ranking services. all the best

In my view, USA is the best for international students in terms of the quality education, lower tuition fees in universities, higher part time jobs availability, more scholarships and financial aid provisions, and favorable studying environment. But, in terms of visa acceptance rate, it is very hard to obtain a student visa for USA these days.
Australia is also good for international students but the tuition fees in well-known universities and living expenses there is considerably higher than in USA.
Australia is best for MBA course , so USA is best for MS . . .

    All the best . . .

No, you should go Australia to do your MS course because the technology of Australia is more advanced. And the degree from that country has much value.

    Hello friend,

    >> From the two countries you had suggested, I think U.S.A. is better place when compared with Australia.

    >> If yo ask me, You are in the mood of doing your M.S. in abroad. You better go for Germany. It is also known as the birth place of Mechanical Engineering.

    >> To study in abroad, You have to give up GRE (or) TOEFL exams.

    Good Luck!!!!!!!!
