You can find enough career opportunities in IT sector. Software Engineer, Software Design Engineer, Software Analyst etc are some of the common job profiles offered by software firms. TCS, CTS, Accenture, etc often offer similar job openings. Public sector firms like CDIT, CDAC, etc also offer core software jobs. Eligibility criterion and selection procedure may vary with organization. Certain MNC prefer 60% marks through out the academic history of the candidate. Details on recruitment can be obtained from their official web portal.

    hi ,

some company's are very strict when they hire you, they look at the graph how you performed well in 10 12 and graduation. when there is consistency u have good impression on you, if not u really need work very hard on impressing with interview, you need to prove them even though you dont show consistency over there you can prove in work area which is always an added advantage for you.

many companies put an over all cut off of 60% in your tenth twelfth and B.Tech but there also some companies whose cut off is around 55% so you have good opportunities in Software sector. and as far as core is considered. in order for you to apply for any PSU through GATE all you need is 60% in your B.Tech so you should do fine. all the best

now a days some of the companies giving much more emphasis on the percentage such as TCS looking for the students having 75% in their whole career they are taking them directly without any written exams...
MICROSOFT is looking for the students having 85% career...

    Thank you...
