Is it compulsory to take Mathematics in 11th and 12th class after 10th in order to become an Environmental Engineer? Which exams should I give after completing 12th? Which course should I take after 12th? What is the duration of that course?

    I am a student of grade 10.

I want to become an environmental engineer.
In 11th and 12th, I will take the Science stream (Physics, Chemistry & Biology).
And I will not take Maths... Is that a problem?
Which exams am I supposed to give after 12th?.... And which course should I take after 12th?
How many years will the courses take after grade 12th?

Please advice me with the best you know.
    Thank you!

    maths

You must score atleast 50% marks in your 12th.It is four year duration course.
Entrance exam is conducted for the admission of students in these colleges.

The scope of Environmental Engineering is:

    dear ..................
it is compulsory to have mathematics in 12Th along with physics, chemistry ,
not only that you must have 50% marks in 12Th to qualify for environmental engineering.
you have to qualify any one among AIEEE,JEE,WB-JEE,BITS ETC.............................
    duration
    it was four years course
it has 8 semesters of six months each
after compleating the b.tech course in environmental engineering you may work in the central and state pollution control boards or you can go for m.tech for further studies
    all the best

To do engineering in any field, you need to study maths in 11 and 12th, although it would be better to take biology as optional. After 12th you can appear for AIEEE exam for admission in NITs , else there are lots of other pvt colleges offering environmental engg.

Career planning is one of the most crucial part in our life.
You should your career in the age of 14-15 years. In that age you can enter the 12th standered. This is the formative age to shape your career.
After completion of 10th every student has confusion, which course we will take.

after completion of your 10th ,in 10+2 you will have 3 options.
    -science stream
    -Arts/Humanities
    -commerce

    Science:

There is a common belief that science is the most important subject compared to other 2 options. You are interested in Engineering you can go for MPC(which is the combination of Maths, physics, chemistry)you are interested in medicine, agricultural, dentistry you cab go for BiPC(which is the combination of biology, physics, chemistry).

    Arts/Humanities:

It is not widely appreciated that humanities. But Humanities is also offers a many options. After completion of 10+2 you can go for BA degree course. Then after you can for Journalism,Performing arts,Advertising travel and tourism and you can sit for civil services also.

    Commerce:

After science, commerce is the best option. If you go for CA,this course is a good option.

If you interested in environmental engineer. So You should go for science stream.
After completion of your 12th you can write entrance for engineering exam.In that exam you are qualified you can go for engineering. The duration of this course is 4 years.

So choose a good course for your bright future.

The eligibility requirement for Graduate Courses and Short - Term Courses is a pass in the 10+2 examination in Science (including biology), or an engineering diploma.

For postgraduate degree leading to the Master's degree (M.Sc.) one should be a graduate, a B.Sc. with Biology / Life / Environmental / Agriculture Science (3 - year course after 10+2).
You need not take maths,it is not a problem, as with physics , chemistry , Biology is required

    Best of luck

I think yes it compulsory to take Mathematics in 11th and 12th class after 10th in order to become an Environmental Engineer..
As all Engineering exams required Maths Compulsory Subject in order to appearing in any Engineering Exam So i don't think you can go for any Engineering course.
You can go for BSc Graduation degree and you can choose Environment Subject.
Or after graduation You can go for IFS exam which is held by UPSC every year.
IFS exam means Indian Forestry exam.
This exam for those who wish to become IFS officer i think it is related to your interest so i think this is better option for you.

For engineering, the educational qualification is 12th with above 60%marks. In 12th must have physics, chemistry, maths. Aieee is the entrance exam of engineering. All the best

To become a engineering its must to have maths, physics, and chemistry subjects in 11th and 12th. after 12th you need to write a engineering entrance exam such as eamcet.
After that based on your rank you score in the exam you will get a list of collages which are available for your rank. select a collage in which Environmental Engineering score is available .

    all the best
