    Is it compulsory to have mathematics background to select BA Economics Honors course?

    B.A. economics honours
    do have to have maths in order to opt for B.A economics honours

    No, it is not compulsory. Students of all streams are eligible to take admission in BA economics honors course. However this sometimes depends on college or institutes, some institutes prefer students who are having maths and economics in 10+2. However there are other institutes who doesn't have any such criteria and treat students of all branch equally. You can easily get admission in BA economics honors and if you had economics or maths in 10+2 then it would be a positive point for you.

    No maths is not compulsory for arts course. But it is there means it will be good for your further post graduate courses. Good luck
