    Hi Dear !!

To become a charted accountant first of all you need to complete 10+2.
Yes, of course maths back ground is compulsory to attempt CA.
For choosing maths background you have 2 optional branches in 10+2

    1. MPC (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry)

    2. MEC (Mathematics, Economics, Commerce).

As you need both maths and commerce for preparing CA the best option is MEC.

after the you have 3 important examinations to become a Charted Accountant.

Plan each and every day for achieving you life time goal faster.

Prepare well, n Become a charted accountant.

    ALL THE BEST !!!

    Regards,

    Hai,

No, its not mandatory to take maths subject in 11th and 12th to pursue charted accountancy course after 12th.

You can go for CA course after completion of 12th without taking maths subject.

    Eligibility criteria:-

You can go fo CA-CPT course after completion of 12th standard in any stream like arts/commerce/science.

If you are graduate then apply directly to CA-IPCC course after your graduation. There are three conditions for getting into this course like:-

Condition -I:-If you ae B.com graduate then you should have minimum 50%
Condition -II:- Should be a graduate in any stream without maths in their academics.Should have minimum 55%.
Condition -III:- Should be a graduate in any stream with maths subject.Minimum percentage should be 60

But CA course will be easier for maths subject because accounts should be done using maths concepts only. So, my advice is concentrate on maths subject and prepare well.

    All the best..

There is good news for you....Mathematics is not compulsory for doing C.A. So, now you can take any optional subject available to you.
BEST OF LUCK FOR YOUR FUTURE...

    HELLO BUDDY
It is not necessary for you to take mathematics in 11th and 12th classes for doing charted accountancy(CA) but commerce is the compulsory subject to do ca. If you take up subjects with the combination of maths and commerce it'll be easy for you as maths is the base for every subject and especially for accounting. i thnik its better for you to take maths also in 11th and 12th class or if you are not intrested doesnt matter its upto your choice but its not a compulsory criteria.
HOPE THIS HELPED YOU ALL THE BEST

    HELLO

Generally maths is not a necessary subject to take CA-CPT after 11 and 12.

to take CA-CPT the necessary subjects are ACCOUNTS and COMMERECE.

If you are from COMMERECE and ACCOUNTS group you are wll eligible for the CA CPT course.

    Thank you.

No its not compulsory that you should have maths in your 11th and 12th to do CA course .

CA course has mainly 2 stages . they are :-
    • CPT and
    • IPCC.

CPT is the first stage of CA course to apply for CPT you need to have completed your 12th.
    • After clearing your CPT you will be eligible to apply/appear for IPCC exam.
    • If your a 12th completed candidate then its must for you to clear CPT to appear for IPCC.
    • But if you have completed Graduation with minimum of 60% then you can appear directly for IPCC.
    • THERE is NO-AGE LIMIT for CA course.
So its not compulsory to have maths in your 11th and 12th to do CA course you just need to complete your 12th from any stream.
