hello friend!
No, its not that much important to have completed your 10+2 from commerce or science background.
Educational: Minimum qualification to go for a course in law (LLB) is 10+2. Course duration is of 5 years and is sponsored by the Bar Council Of India.
There are various areas of specialisation in this field which one can choose from like corporation law, civil law, criminal law, international law, labour law, patent law, tax law and so on.
Some of the law entrance exams are:
Common Law Admission Test (CLAT)
National Law School of India University (NLSIU) Entrance Test
Kerala Law Entrance Examination

Best of luck!

It is not compulsory to have commerce background for law. You can apply for law from science branch too. And from your question you seems to be very much interested in law so you must go for CLAT exam ( www.clat.ac.in ). It provides you a good college which can further provide you high salary package. As far as you are saying about accountancy and economics then for this you have to take commerce, there nothing like that you can take science and can learn these subjects too. According to me if you are interested in law then go to commerce as it will also not put so much burden on you. And you can prepare for CLAT while stuyding in 11th and 12th. Do take coaching for it as it a difficult test.

Good luck.
