No,it is not compulsory to have 65% aggregate in B.Tech.
If you have less than 65%,then also their will be career opportunities for you.

But if you have 65% aggregate in B.Tech, then of course you will have better career opportunities.
So,if you are able to score 65% aggregate in B.Tech, then it is better.
And ,if you are not able to score 65% aggregate in B.Tech, then also don't get disappointed.

    All the best !

    hello sir/madam

it is not mandatory that you have to get 65% of aggregate marks..........
but 60% of marks is must because ...its must and compulsory for some of the corporate company and multi national companys that the student should complete his degree with 60%....while some company's will accept even if the percentage is below 60%....but its better if the percentage is more than 60....

No it is not necessary to agreggate 65% in B.Tech. But if you agreggate more than from this than it will be better for your caireer.
But if you get less than from it than there is no problem but some companies allow 60 % or above from it. So you have to opt such percentage.
Some companies allow the students who have less than from it also.but donot worry if you have talent and confidence than you can achieve what you wana.
So keep patience and do workhard you will surely get success.
    Thanks

    Hi Dear Friend,

it is a ere of competition.you have to work hard to compete other people.
As you have mentioned that your percentage is 65%, and it is enough for you
to sit in a placement drive.

You have good technical knowledge to have a good job in engineering field.
Percentage does not matter if you have nothing to impress them.

So always focus on practical knowledge than the percentage. Don't study from the exam point of view.
always try to gain something. Nobody can stop you if you have talent.

    Good Luck

yes, in order top get a job in the top most reputed companies you must compulsorily have a minimum of 65%.

you are not eligible to attend for the interview itself,if they keep a cut off of 65% 0r above.

Also for applying for any govt job also you must have a minimum of 60% compulsorily.

so work hard and all the best

Now a Days there are many candidates who are going for the Bachelor of Technology course of study and there are many graduates also who are searching for the jobs and with out the minimum percentage there are no eligibility for any of the jobs after completing your Bachelor of Technology course of study....
There are some minimum percentages which are required for appearing to the jobs in any of the sectors of work after completing your Bachelor of Technology course of Study. You should get minimum of the first class in order to be eligible for any of the jobs and in order to appear for the jobs of the government sector you need to have minimum of 65% of aggregate of marks for appearing to the government sector jobs........

Now a days getting the jobs in the government sector is not an easy task because there are lots of competition for the government jobs even the candidates who are earning very good in the Private sectors are also now coming to the Government sector jobs,so there are lots of demand for the government sector jobs........

There are many Government sector jobs which are available after completing your Bachelor of Technology course of study and there are some qualifications which are needed after completing your Graduation course in order to get in to the Government sector jobs such as...
    >>Any government sector jobs needs the age limit and the candidates can apply for these government sectors jobs only with in the age limits....

    >>The upper age limits are as per the government rules....

These are the minimum eligibility criteria for the government jobs........

    Hi dear,

No it is not mandatory to have 65% aggregate in B.Tech.
But if you have more than 65% aggregate than it would be better for your future.
Most of the multinational companies seeks student who have scored more than 60% marks but the actual think is in these companies after getting a job they don't consider the marks but the skills.
If you have enthusiasm & zeal and even marks less than 65%, you need not to worry. You can achieve better.
keep trying. You will get better.

    Hello . .

Having An Aggregate of 65 - 70 % and above will only help you for more chances in anything !!

Let it be for a job ; in-case you are applying for it some companies ask for above 70 % . .

Each and every company has their own cut-off !!

Having more % will put you in a safer side . .so ; it's better that you keep more percentile . .

Moreover in case of higher studies to it will help you out . .

You will be getting a Scholarship too when you have more Percentage in your Graduation !!

Work Hard and Enjoy it's benefits !!

    Good Luck . . .

If you want not to be filtered out by some of the companies whose criteria is 65% or more marks, you better score 65% or more ;-) after all it's going to be your good marks.

Although it's not necessary, for the degree you need to just pass.though this makes job hunting little difficult so I would suggest study and try to get the required marks,in each semester :-) as far as possible.

    Dear,

it is not necessary or there is no any boundation of percentage but if you got more than 60% than you got first preference by the companies.

and also for all the exam you will be eligible .

so minimum 60% is required for great future but it is not necessary.......

Re: Is it compulsory to have 65% aggregate in B.Tech?

    Hello dude!

It is must that candidates who are studying B.E/B.Tech must have a percentage more than 60 or 65.

Because in this competitive world where the unemployment problem is increasing day by day,so the candidates must also notify that they will be able to get jobs only if they have good percentage.

In Private sector many software companies are allowing those candidates who have an aggregate more than 60-65% in B.Tech.So companies like Infosys,Microsoft are only allowing candidates with more than 68-70%.

So keeping this in mind, the candidate need to study well and not just getting good percentage is sufficient, they need to develop their communication skills and they must be able to speak good English.

Dream high, work hard and learn with passion, success will be surely yours.

HOPE THE INFORMATION HELPED YOU AND ALL THE BEST.

Re: Is it compulsory to have 65% aggregate in B.Tech?

    hi friend

it is not compulsory to have 65% marks in b.tech (bachelor of technology).

several important points about amrks in b.tech:

---> friend, today there is competition every where, those who have better % has the previlage above those who has less marks.

----> those having higher % have lots of job opportunities.

----> different MNC have different % criteria like some have between 60-70,some have 70-80 etc.

better % in b.tech means that you have worked hard ,it will increase your possibility for clear the GATE examinations.

----> it can help you getting admission in M.tech

-----> on the basis of your GATE score ,you can get job in NTPC,ONGC,IOCL etc.

so,work hard and secure better % marks in b.tech ,it will be benificial to you.

    all the best

    hello friend....

*Its good to have more than 65% in your B.tech as the competition now-a-days is becoming more so many companies are preferring the students who are having more % and opting for the jobs so its better to have more than 65%

*As at the present days not only the MNC companies many government organizations are also keeping the cut-off marks of 65%

*so there is no harm of getting more than 65% marks in B.tech

List of software companies who kept 65% cut-off for jobs

    --WIPRO

    --INFOSYS

    --TCS

    -MICROSOFT

    -IBM

    -LOGICA

    -COGNIZANT

    -ACCENTURE

    -QUALCOMM etc

List of government companies who kept 65% cut-off for jobs

    --ECIL

    --SAIL

    --HAL

    --NSIC

    --DRDO

Eligibility criteria for getting job In MNC companies:-

--you must have more than 65% till your graduation

--you must have good communication skills

--you must be good at technical skills

*If you get more % then you will get more job opportunities in different sectors so try to get more % in your b.tech a of now 65% is enough but after 2-3 years many companies will prefer the students who got more than 70%

*So read well and get good % and have a nice future....

    all the best..!!
