    Is it compulsory to get 60% marks in high school to write IBPS PO exam? Also, Tell the complete details regarding IBPS PO exam, 2k12?

    Is this necessary that a person should have passed there high school with 60% to be appear in IBPS PO's Exam..??? Also tell me the IBPS PO Exam details of 2012..

    No for PO exam your graduation marks consider.
    Eligibility for IBPS PO
    1.GRADUATE FROM A RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY WITH AT LEAST 60%(55% IN CASE OF SC/ST/OBC)
    2.AGE MUST BE BETWEEN 21 YEARS TO 30 YEARS
    3.AGE RELAXATION IN CASE OF SC/ST UP TO 5 YEARS IN CASE OF OBC UP TO 3 YEARS
    4.COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE IS ESSENTIAL
    5.ENGLISH SHOULD BE KNOWN

    IBPS PO exam 2012 will be held soon.IBPS has not declared any notification for po exam but in future there will be.

    Higher school percentage of marks in not necessary for IPBS PO Examination , For IBPS PO Examination you need to complete bachelor degree with 60% percentage of marks then only your eligible for IBPS PO Examination .

    Common Written Examination (CWE) is conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) . This Examination is conducted by twice in year

    The Admission for IBPS PO Examination is based on the percentage of marks in Written Examination and Interview . If your qualified in Written Examination then you should send for Group discussion and Interview .

    Hi dude,

    IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.This exam is conducted to Recruit the students for bank jobs .To apply for this exam you need to complete your graduation from a reconized university.You can also apply if you are in the final year of your Graduation.Your age need to be between 20-30 years.This exam is conducted in both objective and descriptive type`s.Objective type is of 150 min duration.Descriptive type is of 60 min duration .

    The score card of this exam will have 1 year validity.

    IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.

    It conducts Common Examination for initial short listing of the candidates for selection of personnel in Clerical Cadre and Entry Level Officer cadre and Specialist Officers in all the 19 Public Sector Banks (Except SBI and its Associate Banks).

    THERE IS NO NEED FOR YOUR HIGH SCHOOL MARKS AT ALL.
    Even in graduation its enough if you have just a pass in a degree in any discipline.

    Age Limits :

    Minimum-20
    Maximum-30

    Educational Qualifications :

    A Degree in any Discipline from any recognized University.

    Exam Pattern:

    Written Exam will conducted in Objective & Descriptive Type.

    Objective Type : 150 Minutes duration

    Descriptive Paper on English Composition is conducted for 25 Marks and 1 hour Duration.

    There will be Negative Marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong Answer in Objective Type Exam.

    IBPS Stands for Institute of Banking Personnel.It is conducting common written exam for 19 government sector banks.You will be having chance to apply for both PO position and Clerical cadre positions.Here you will be having chance to apply for all the banks with single time payment and single time written test.This is really a good chance for the candidates those who want to get jobs in the government banks.

    Once go through following eligibility criteria;

    1.Clerical cadre position: You must be having at least 55% of marks from your Intermediate from recognized board.Your age should be between 18 to 28 yrs.

    2. Probationary Officers Position: You must be having at least 50% of marks in your graduation from recognized university and 5% relaxation is available for SC and ST candidates.Your age should be between 18 yrs to 28 yrs.


    If you qualify in this test then you have chance to 19 government sector banks interview.

    If you qualify in this interview then you can get the job in all the 19 government sector banks.

    I have 59% marks in graduation and 60% in 10 2.Am I eligible for IBPS CWE for the post of PO or is it compulsory that we must have 60% in graduation ?

    you can do it try main job in the banks after CEW written test.after written test interview and group discussion so you prepare yourself for the exam.

    ELIGIBILITY FOR BANK PO:
    >must be graduate in 60% marks.
    >In the +12 55% marks.
    >age between 21 to 30 years.

    I.B.P.S. Stands for Institute Banking of Personnel Section, it conducts the examination twice every year.

    The IBPS conducts the examination for the recruitment of specialist officers for various fields in the participating banks. The list of the participating banks is given below.

    There are various fields in which IBPS conducts an examination twice every year. IBPS conducts examination in the fields like

    1. P.O- Probationary Officer
    2. C.W.E- Common Written Examination
    3. Clerks

    Eligibility Criteria :

    The eligibility criteria varies accordingly to the post applied but the eligibily is almost similar for the posts like probationary officer and common entrance examination.

    1)You must have completed your Graduation in any of the field from any recognized University.
    2)Your age must not be less than 21 years or more than 30 years.
    3)Final year Pursuing Graduates are also eligible for the examination.

    Examination Pattern :

    The examination pattern for the IBPS is as follows



    After you conclude your examination a score card is generated which IBPS sends to the address we have submitted this score card is valid from the date we clear the examination for the next one year where we would be eligible to apply for any of the 19 participating banks.

    After you have obtained the IBPS score card you can use this scorecard and apply for all the 19 banks and without any written examination you can simply prepare for the interview.

    Hence you can only apply for IBPS as you have fulfilled the eligible criteria.
