    Complete information about LEET exam this year?

    I m doing diploma in civil engineering and after that I want to get admission in 2nd year in an engineering college.. for that I have to appear leet.. so, can u please help me with the date and sufficient information regarding leet 2013?

    Here is the details About LEET Examination ::-

    The LEET stands for Lateral Entry Entrance Exam and this is conducted by the state govt examination for admission in B.Tech/B.E program directly in 2nd year.

    Eligibility criteria ::-


    You must have completed your Diploma from any State Board of Technical Education.
    You must have cleared your diploma with minimum 60% marks and you must not have any live backlogs in Diploma.
    Your age should not exceed 28 years at the time of admission.


    Exam Pattern:-


    There are 4 sections in This Exam.

    Section A- Basic Sciences
    Section B- Electronics stream courses
    Section C- Mechanical stream courses
    Section D- Other Engineering Streams

    Hi aspirant,

    Lateral Entry Entrance Examination:

    It is conducted by the government so that students opting for diploma as an early career course can also avail Engineering course.
    Student cracking the Lateral entry entrance exmination can join Btech from the secon year onwards as they have acquired the basics that are needed for technical jobs.
    But this privilege is only available in State Government and some deemed university.

    A candidate shall be eligible for admission in the BE/BTech programmes subject to the following conditions:

    * You should have at least a 60% in Diploma.
    * Maximum age limit is of 28 years.
    * You must not have any backlogs left in Diploma.
    * Passed LEET-TU entrance examination with at least 20% aggregate marks
    * Or with 15% as scheuled tribe or scheduled caste candidate.

    Courses you can opt for after confirming your admission.

    Biotechnology
    Chemical Engineering
    Electronics & Communication Engineering
