    Hello,
Well this is a kind of question that is asked in interviews and mind you, you can apply my answer for any interview that you go for.
Undergraduate means the education level that is not in the graduation level or has not completed the graduation yet. In other words you can call the higher secondary or 12th standard people in their under graduate level and also you can call people studying in their graduation level. So you will see that people studying for graduation courses are called undergraduate students. Until and unless you complete your graduation degree with the complete mark sheet you will be considered in the undergraduate level. The moment you complete your three years of graduation you are a graduate student and you are no more in the undergraduate level. Now the rest part is easy. You are a post graduate student the moment you enroll for your post graduate or master degree course. From the moment you apply and study and till you complete and the master degree, you are a post graduate student. The moment you complete master degree you are not a student but a person with a post graduate degree.

    Hey pal,
Undergraduate is that educational qualification where a person has no bachelor's degree.
Graduate is that educational qualification where a person has a bachelor's degree.
Post-graduate is that educational qualification where a person has a bachelor's degree and then went onto get a master's degree in some trade.

    Hope your doubt is clear..
