    Common Management Admission Test (CMAT)

    Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is an entrance test conducted by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) for the intake of eligible candidates to the postgraduate course in Management. Those who get qualified in this entrance test can seek admission in any Management Institution approved by AICTE. This national level entrance test is very much popular among the graduates in India.

    Structure and Pattern of Common Management Admission Test (CMAT)

    This entrance test conducted for the intake of suitable candidates to the postgraduate courses in Management will have only multiple choice questions. There will be 4 sections in the question paper of this entrance test with 100 marks each. List of those four sections is given below.
    • Logical Reasoning
    • General Awareness
    • Quantitative techniques and Data Interpretation
    • Language Comprehension
    Four marks will be given for each right answer and a penalty of one mark will be there for choosing each wrong answer. Only 180 minutes will be given to attempt all the four sections.

    Eligibility Criteria of Common Management Admission Test (CMAT)

    Minimum educational requirements specified to apply for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is an undergraduate degree in any discipline. The aspirants should have to complete the concerned undergraduate degree from recognized university with minimum of 50%aggregate. Those who are studying in the final year of the undergraduate course are also eligible to apply for this test. But such aspirants should submit the relevant certificates at the time of the admission.

    Application procedure of Common Management Admission Test (CMAT)

    The applicants should submit their application for this test through online. They should first of all register in the concerned website so as to obtain a password for login into the site. They can fill the form and pay the application fee through online or cash payment. If they select cash payment mode, then they should download the challan from the website. The applicants are required to make the fee payment at any specified SBI branch with this challan. General candidates should make a payment of Rs.1200/- while SC/ST/PD candidates should pay an amount of Rs.600/-.
