No, you are not eligible for B.Sc course after commerce in +2.
For B.Sc you must have passed +2(non-medical), with physics, chemistry, maths
You can do BBA and after that MBA after commerce to get a good job in some bank , college, university, govt. office.etc.

    Best of luck

Re: Is a Commerce student eligible to do B.Sc Course?

I think you can do as my friend Shiva tells you that you can do BSc in mainly two subjects-
    Firstly BSc with Economics
and Second one is BSc with Computers.
Both are good and scopes are also good.
But if you take BSc with Computers then you have to some knowledge about Computers else you face many problems.
As i think you have already introduced with Economics subject in 12th so it is quite easier to do BSc with Economics.
You can also go for B.com
    which is also good.
But as you wish. The minimum marks to take admission in BSc is 55% so if you have then you can take.

    Dear friend,
Sorry to say that you are not eligible for B.Sc .As the name suggest that B.Sc is a science student's course .FOr B.Sc a candidate should have science stream in 11th as well as in 12th.
On this bases a candidate can apply for B.Sc coures after completing 12th .Don't worry my friend you can also do bachelor degree in commerce that is B.Com.You can also go with other courses such as -BBA,BCA,CA,Hotel management,Fashion designing,Animation etc.

There is one course you can apply if you had Mathematics in 10+2 is B.Sc in Mathematics ,B.Sc in Mathematics Honours .
But its better for you to have in your own field other than trying for something else .
There are lots of scope in Commerce stream too.

    Hi friend

Being a commerce student it is difficult to get into B Sc courses.
If you had mathematics in your class 12 then you are eligible for

    1.B Sc Mathematics

    2.B Sc Statistics

    3.B Sc Psychology

    4.B Sc Visual Communication

If you had maths or business maths , then you are eligible for
    B Sc Computer Science.

For all other courses you need a subject from science group.
Many colleges demand a minimum 60% in class 12 for admission.

Yes some colleges in our country give admission to commerce stream candidates also . You did not mention particular specialization .

    Specialization for B.sc course :-

    -Computer science
    -Zoology
    -Biology
    -Mathematics
    -Information Technology

Eligibility criteria for B.sc course :-

You should qualified in 12th Examination in any stream from recognized university or Equivalent Examination . You should score 50% percentage of marks in 12th board Examination . There is no specific Examination for B.sc course . The institution within the colleges conduct entrance examination within the colleges to test their subjective and knowledge .

The entrance examination pattern based on 12th board Examination so have to go through the the 12th examination once then you may crack the Entrance examination with good percentage of marks .

The admission for B.sc course in based on Percentage of marks in 12th board Examination and percentage of marks in entrance examination .

You should have good academic background . So that you have to secure .

If your score good percentage of marks in entrance examination then you call for am Interview

If your satisfy the eligibility criteria then you may get admission for B.sc course in reputed colleges .

*Commerce is good subject ,as you took commerce subject in your 12th class you have to continue with same subject for higher so that you can have good carrier options

*As you are a commerce student you are not eligible to take B.SC course in your graduation

Best option for you to choose as a commerce student

-->You can opt for B.COM(Bachelor of Commerce) its best option for you as you are from commerce background ,you will have nice future if you opt for B.COM

-->You have to opt for graduation course with related subject stream then your degree will be valuable. So my decision for you is to opt for B.COM

-->There are 3 streams in B.COM you can choose

    >>B.COM(Computers)
    >>B.COM(Hons)
    >>B.COM(Regulars)

*If you are having mathematics in your 12th class with commerce then you can go for B.SC Mathematics or B.SC statistics

    good luck

Re: Is a Commerce student eligible to do B.Sc Course?

Yes you can pursue B.SC after completing your higher secondary from commerce stream but you can only opt for one particular
field and that is B.Sc with economics.Actually there are three bifurcations in which this course can be divided as follows:
    1)B.Sc with Science
    2)B.Sc with Mathematics
    3)B.Sc with economics

Apart from there is one more subject that you would be compulsorily required to study and that subject is computers. So, you should try to have
a basic knowledge of computers as this would greatly help you to get good marks in that subject.
As you are desirous of opting for B.Sc, I would suggest you to have at least the basic knowledge of science so that you are comfortable
with what you are studying in that course.

Re: Is a Commerce student eligible to do B.Sc Course?

Well as you are from commerce stream you can not do B.sc as for doing B.sc you need to complete 10+2 with

Physics, Chemistry and Maths as your prime subjects.

If you wish to do B.sc you have to study 10+2 from science stream.
