    Hai

Surely with a commerce group in your higher secondary you are eligible for BSc IT in any of the Arts and Science Colleges.

Re: Is a Commerce student eligible for B.Sc IT course ?

No, it is not at all possible to pursue B.Sc in information Technology course for a commerce student. As the requirement to pursue B.Sc is to have Science Maths or Science Biology
as your main subjects in 11th as well as higher secondary. And as you are a commerce student you do not have both of these subjects in your higher secondary
And as a result you do not have the basic knowledge which is required to pursue this course.

The point which should be considered is that apart from Information technology as one of the subjects , you need to study a number of subjects for example Physics, Chemistry,
etc and for studying these subjects you need to have a basic understanding of the subject matter. As you are a commerce student , you are not familiar with the basic knowledge of the subject
and thus you would not be comfortable with the subject.

Apart from that the most important thing is that any Science college would not give you admission as you do not have these subjects as your main subjects in higher secondary.
There are a number of options available for a commerce student , you can choose any one of the option according to your interests as well as potential. The various options can be listed as follows:-
    1)B.com or B.com(honors)-
This option is usually opted by many students. This course can provide you with a wide variety of knowledge as a number of subjects are required to be studied during the course.
Even subjects which are not at all related to the commerce field fro example political science, etc are also required to be studied. So, it would increase your knowledge to a large extent.

    2)CA(Chartered accountancy)-
This course is mostly opted by those people who want to reach new heights in the field of commerce(particularly subjects such as accountancy, taxation, etc). This course can
not only provide you with a satisfactory salary but also a good reputation in the organisation. You can work as an individual CA or you can join any firm of chartered accountants
or you can join any company. In all three cases you would be able to derive a good remuneration and you would also be respected in the society.

3)Apart from there are a number of options available for you for example you can choose BBA(Bachelor of Business Administration) if you are interested in management field
you can choose BCA(Bachelor of Computer Application) if you are interested in computer applications. You can also move into more dynamic sectors for example travel and tourism,
event management, hotel management, Aviation, Cartoonist, etc.

Sorry my dear friend you can't apply for B.Sc IT .
It's because B.Sc IT is only for science's student .
As you know that you are commerce student .
It's difficult for you .For B.Sc IT a candidate should
have physics , chemistry and maths sa the main subject .
A candidate should be 0passed with good percentage in
physics , chemistry and in maths .If you get somewhere then
definitely it will create problem for you . B.Sc IT require
basic understanding in their subjects . as per my knowledge
you can go with CA, BBA , B.COM etc .And can make good career .
    So best if luck .
