    I want to do CFA. So please provide the fees details and other details like time period level of difficulty etc.

    Those aspiring to be Chartered Financial Analysts need to register themselves with ICFAI. It is a must that the candidate applying should be a graduate. Postgraduates are also allowed to apply for the course. The candidate is allowed to register any time of the year. There is no minimum marks required as part of the eligibility criteria. Even candidates who are in their final year can also apply for the course. The duration is for two years. The exams are held 4 times of the year. The candidate can opt which exam he would like to apply. The cost will be around Rs 45000/-.

    The ICFAI have introduced a self study mode of education provided through distance education for students who want to become a Chartered Financial Analysis (CFA). As to join CFA program candidates need to be a graduate. Other than these, candidates who have Post graduation, CA, ICWA, CS etc can also apply for the program. There is no specific percentage requirement. Final year students can also apply as to join the CFA program. The CFA is a 2 year long course. The admission to this course is entirely based on entrance exam. The entrance exam is carried out 4 times in a year at designated test centers.     The Program is a graduate level self-study program offered by the CFA Institute.

    Chartered Financial Analyst programme has been brought into being by the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts.

    Duration :

    The course will be completed within 2 and half - 3 years only.

    Eligibility for the CFA course :

    The CFA course is opted for by both students and employed executives.

    You must be a Graduate in any discipline.

    Fresh graduates and also students in the final year of the Bachelor Degree course are eligible for the admission test.

    This course deals with the following :

    Financial accounting,
    Management accounting,
    Financial management (both as relevant to India and for the international scene),
    Investment management,
    Security evaluation,
    Project planning,
    Venture capital management and credit rating among other things.

    Course Structure :

    There are 3 levels sat annually.

    Level 1

    The Exams take place twice a year in the months of June and December .

    Level 2 and Level 3

    The Exams take place once a year and its in the month of June.

    As you are asking about the final level, here are the details of it .

    The final level or the fourth module is divided into two groups:

    Group E and
    Group F.

    Group E : This group has two papers.

    1. Advance financial management and

    1. The Indian financial system and
    2. International financial management.

    Exams for the papers in this group can be taken one year after passing the inter level.

    Employment for a CFA degree holder :

    Employment opportunities are a plenty in sectors like :

    Banking,
    Insurance,
    The corporate sector,
    Companies dealing in finance and leasing.

    Also,

    The Reserve Bank of India,
    The International Development Bank of India (IDBI),
    The Industrial Finance Corporation of India (IFCI) and
    The Indian Railways recognise the CFA programme and employ trained CFAs.

    Besides these, a trained CFA can go into business as an independent business consultant or join an existing consultancy firm.
