For a career in US/Canada after BDS you have to pass NDEB Part I with at least 83 percentile (National Board Dental Examination Part 1 and Part 2 Board exam.). Even if you are a BDS/MDS graduate from any country you need to complete two years of advanced training in Dentistry in US. Advanced Standing Program admission requires candidates to pass NDEB. NBDE is a computer based exam administered in one day. There are 400 multiple choice questions. It is based on clinical applications and dental hygiene patient cases.NBDE part II is also a computer based exam in which there are discipline based questions and case problems. Some of the dental colleges are demanding for NDEB II because of increase in competition and they have increased the number of seats too. If you have less than 83% you have to repeat the test. Once you clear the exam you can get the license and you can find opportunities like Dental doctor/Surgeon/Medical officer/Researcher.

This is a highly competitive world and people want their doctors to have right qualifications. It is a general feeling that more the qualifications better are the skills. So before going in for a job it would be more advisable to complete your master’s course. You will be able to practice after BDS but Master’s degree will help boosting you career prospects.

join any university in USA or Canada and complete your masters from there and you will find many paths to settle down there .
OR you can get the green card of either of the country by studying there for 3 years or more and then settle down there.

first you should join a university there and after studying for 3yrs you will get a green card for that country then you can search there for many jobs of your type......best of luck....

After BDS from India you can perform as a dentist in USA or Canada.Or you can join the government medical hospital as a dentist.

Career wise its really good to go there and work but before that you need to Clear some the exams like from that country that will decide your entry as a dentist.I would like to suggest you better complete your masters and then go to UK..that will count a lot..

NBDE stands for National board dental education. Is conducted round the year. There's a long procedure for its application and acceptance. Getting more than 80%ile is necessary.

BDS MEANS:Bachelors in Dental Surgery THis is the cource done for the sake of specialisation as to enter into feild of medicine as a dentist

You don't have to worry because you have lot of options after B.D.S.
Dental departments in hospitals,nursing homes need the services of dentists.
You can also self employ urself by private practise.There are various other resourses like Dental Hygienist Certificate Course,Dental Mechanist Certificate Course,Diploma Course in Dental Assistance.But these will not provide you with P.G degree.
anyway doing M.D.S is the best choice after B.D.S.

Hello friend,to move to US or Canada,you have two options.
1 go for higher studies first
2 join a job directly

After BDS,you need to appear for GATE test ,to start practising as a dental doctor,you need to appear for NBDE.It stands for National Board of Dental Education.After getting a good level of accuray,you will get a license to practise as a dental doctor,surgeon,higher studies.
If you can,go for higher studies like MDS etc first and after studying for 3 years ,you will get green card for the country and then you can easily do a job or set uop your own dental clinic.
