    Can a MFC(Master in Finance and Control) holder eligible to apply for NET exam or not?

    NET stands for National Eligibility test and this examination is Conducted by UGC (University Grant Commission) Twice in a year. This examination is Conducted in June and December Every year.

    This examination is Conducted to determine eligibility for lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). There is no Upper age restrictions to apply for Lectureship Post, But for Junior Research Fellowship Post, your age should not be more than 28 years, The relaxation to Reserved category will be applicable as Follows :

    >> A relaxation upto 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH/VH categories and to women applicants.

    >> There is no upper age limit for applying for lectureship eligibility.

    Eligibility Criteria :
    ------------------

    >> You have to complete your Post graduate degree course from a recognised University
    >> You Must have scored minimum 55% marks in your Post graduation
    >> Final year appearing candidates are also apply for NET Examination.

    Those who have not scored minimum 55% marks in Post graduation are not eligible to apply for NET Examination.

    The Notification will be Published soon in the Month of April 2012 for June NET Examination.

    The Application form Cost of NET is Rs 450 and you have to pay the fees through Challan form in SBI Bank and then you are eligible to fill Online application form of NET.

    You have to download the challan form from the official website of UGC After declaring the Notification, So please wait for the Notification and then fill the Online application form.

    You have to choose the subjects in NET on the basis of your Post graduation, the list of syllabus is availiable in the official website of UGC, You can download the syllabus from there and keep practice accordingly.

    There are 3 papers in NET Examination and all are conducted in same day in 2 session.

    In First session there will be 2 papers and both are Objective type and you have to appear for both the paper, There will be 60 Multiple type question asked in paper I and Paper II, will be consist of questions based on the subject selected by the candidate.

    Last paper is of Descriptive type and the question will be asked form the subjects you selected at the time of filling the application form.
