Yes, you can attend the PO exam with the above mentioned qualifications. Graduation in any subject area is the main criterion for applying for the PO post. The graduation should be secured from a recognized institute or university. You should be between 20- 30 years to apply for this exam. There is age relaxation for reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBC etc. If you qualify in written exam, you will be called for GD and personal interview.

    Hello Friend

I say that NO you are not eligible to write PO exam with your 12th standard qualification even you got a good percentage at your 12th standard.

As per your given information you had completed your Graduation with 54.3% but i order to apply for the PO exam you must have a minimum of 60%, so it is not possible for you to appear for the Bank PO exam with your Graduation.

But dude i recommend that you can go for applying the Bank Clerk cadre post with your 12th standard percentage and after placing in bank there will be internal respective bank exams where you will be transferred to high cadre if you are top in the examination with your experience.

So dude if you want to placed in a Bank then go for attempting Bank Clerk cadre exam and the eligibility requirements for the Bank clerk cadre exams are

    Education :

you must have completed your SSC / SSLC / Matriculation or any equivalent recognized by the state or central government with minimum percentage of marks.
    or
you must have completed 12th standard from any recognized college with a minimum percentage.
    or
you must be a Degree holder with minimum percentage marks.

    Age :

you must have minimum 18 years and a maximum of 28 years of age.

Age relaxation is accepted if you belong to the special category like

    SC / ST - 5 years
    BC - 3 years
    Physically Handicapped - 1 0 years
    Widow - 7 years
    Ex-Defense personnel - 5 years
Domiciled in state of Jammu & Kashmir - 5 years

    Nationality :

you must be a citizen of India / Nepal / Bhutan / Tibetan refugee

Dude these are the minimum requirements that for applying the Bank Clerk cadre examinations and i say that without hesitation go for it. IBPS ( Institute of Banking Personnel Selection ) conducts the CWE for 19 Public Sector Banks for Clerk cadre, you can apply for it.

for more information regarding the ibps examination you can go through the link www.ibps.in

The examination pattern for the Clerk cadre exam for any bank commonly includes

Re: Can I write PO exam after completing 12th with 73% and B.A with 54.63%?

As your Graduation percentage is less compared to the Criteria you can not apply for BANK-PO exam.

To apply for BANK-PO exam you need to have completed your Graduation from a Recognized university.

You need to have minimum of 60% in your Garduation.

If your from Reservation category then you need to maintain 55% in your Garduation.

Your age need to be between 21-30 years.

Age relaxation of 5 years is provided to SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.

You need to be citizen of INDIA.

So if you satisfy all the above mentioned criteria then you can apply for BANK-PO.

But as your Graduation percentage is less compared to the mentioned criteria you can not apply for BANK-PO exam.

So i suggest you to apply for BANK-CLERK exam as your 12th percentage is good , to apply for BANK-CLERK you need to have completed your 12th with minimum of 60% and your age need to be between 19-28 years.

Your need to be between 21-30 years.

You need to be citizen of

So if you satisfy all the above mentioned criteria then you can apply for BANK-PO.

But as your Graduation percentage is less compared to the mentioned criteria you can not apply for BANK-PO exam.

So i suggest you to apply for BANK-CLERK exam as your 12th percentage is good , to apply for BANK-CLERK you need to have completed your 12th with minimum of 60% and your age
