    Hello My Friend,
    Yes you can apply as well as give the DRDO CET Examination in your 3rd year engineering.
    But you can only seat in the hall and get know the questions and you can't qualify the exam because it has the criterion to appear in the exam but you can't get the score of it.

    But personally I feel that you better give the exam for your knowledge about the question paper which would be beneficial for the next year of the exam so that you can click the Exam easily.

    no you cant write DRDO exam in B.tech 3rd year.
    Qualification Criteria for DRDO SET:
    Any engineering graduate with B.Tech or MSc degree in Aero, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, Computer, Electronics/Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Metallurgy etc and Science subjects such as Chemistry, Physics and Maths/ Operations Research/ Statistics etc. The age limit is 28 years. For SC/ST students there is an age relaxation by 5 years and for OBC, there is a 3 year age relaxation.

    M.Tech in Remote Sensing and GIS (A collaborative course by DRDO-BU CLS and DRDO-SASE )

    Eligibility Criteria:

    Any graduate in Engineering/ Medicine / Agriculture or Post Graduate in Science can apply for this reputed course offered by the University.

    Candidates who have studied under 10+2 +4 pattern or 10+2 +3+2 pattern can apply for this programme.

    Selection Criteria:

    Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of Entrance Examination conducted by the University.

    No , you can't write DRDO Exam while in B.Tech 3rd year . You have to complete B.Tech course for being eligible for DRDO Exam .

    Eligibility Criteria for DRDO Exam


    You should have graduation in Engineering or Medicine or Agriculture in Science .
    You should have passed 10 + 2 + 4 pattern of Exams or 10+2 +3+2 pattern of Exams for being eligible.

    Branches Allowed for DRDO Exam

    • Chemical Engineering
    • Computer Science and Engineering
    • Electronics and Communication Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering


    DRDO Written test will be of 3-hour .

    It consist of two sections as.....................
    • Subject Knowledge
    • Aptitude for Applied Research

    DRDO SET test Marks Distribution
    • 150 Objective-type questions for 500 total marks.

    Aptitude Paper will Consist .....
    • Logical Relations
    • Spatial Relations
    • Concept Relations
    • Numerical Relations
    • Abstract Relations

    Sorry you cannot write DRDO exam while you are in 3 rd year.Because if you want apply for DRDO job entrance exam you must have following Qualifications: The following are the qualifications.
    1.You must have completed engineering from any stream.
    2.You must have secured 60% throught career.
    3.Your age is between 21-30 years.
    So these are the eligibility details for taking examination.So you must have completed B.Tech from discipline university
