Insurance regulatory authority of India Has issued is regulatory market in India.First you can decide for which Company you want become insurance agent then you can sell as much as many polices belongs to one company .you can not sell the two companies polices by the same agent its against Insurance regulatory authority of India regulations. you have to enroll with insurance regulatory of India after complete successful completion for training .if you do so you license will be cancelled by IRDA

You can work as agent in LIC and Reliance beacause reliance is private sector n LIC is public sector job if botth are govt then u can not work as agent .but with you different condition so you can work in both together.
