    Can I take up IAS exams after BA in Journalism?

    after B.A in Journalism cn i take up i.p.s examz.???

    UPSC - exam conduct on below Jobs.
    @ IAS
    @ IPS
    @ IFS
    @ IES
    army service & navy service and more then Jobs are conducted.
    Eligible for UPSC exam:
    1. Completed an any bachlor degree.
    2. Age limite : 21-30.
    3. Only 5 attemptes are allowed.
    4. There are 9 papers.
    Your are elegible for this exam.

    Yes, you are eligible for IAS Examination as per your educational qualification

    First you can appear for Civil Examination

    Civil Examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission in yearly ones,

    For this Civil Examination some eligibility are there

    if you satisfy these all eligibility then you are eligible for civil examination

    Eligibility Criteria for Civil Examination


    Educational Qualification

    >> Candidates have a bachelor of degree in any stream from any recognized university,

    >> Final year students also eligible for this examination

    >> There is no percentage required for this examination

    Age Limit

    >> Candidates age should between 21 years to 30 years for general candidates

    5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates

    3 years relaxation for OBC candidates

    Nationality

    >> Candidates should be a citizen of India

    Yes ,you are eligible for Civil Services Examination to become an IAS.

    Civil services Examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission .

    Civil Services exams consists :

    Preliminary exam

    Mains Exam

    Personal Interview.

    Candidate can attempt Civil Exa,ms:

    General can attempt 4 times.

    OBC can attempt 7 times.

    Sc/ ST ,no limits.

    Elligibity For IAS:

    *Candidates must have graduate in any stream from recognized university .

    * candidates age should be 21 years and maximum 30 years.

    Age relaxation for OBC 3 years and SC ST 5 years.


    *Candidate must have citizenship of India.

    *Candidate should be physically fit.

    Selection based on written test , when you qualify written test test than Mains exam conducts , and if Mains exam is perfect than you will be called for Interview.

    IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service and this exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.

    You must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University to become eligible for IAS examination.Yes , BA in Journalism candidate are applicable for IAS exam .

    The Candidates age should between 21 years to 30 years for general candidates .

    The maximum no of attempts for Sc/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

    IAS exam is consist of 3 process - Preliminary Exam . Mains Exam and Personal Interview.
