    Eligibility for CA Entrance Exams

    1. The aspiring candidate for a CA exam should have cleared the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2). Students waiting for (10+2) results can also apply.

    2. Students can join a CA program after (10+2) or graduation. There is no restriction in terms of age or percentage secured in (10+2).

But better take commerce stream...it helps

YES you can take any subject of your choice in 12th you wont be eligible to apply for charted account any more. You must have commerce branch to perpare for CA .There is no relation between science and charted account so you have some info regarding accounts and business to become CA rather then PHYSICS and CHEMISTRY...

I would suggest you to go for COMMERCE stream

    Hiiiiiiiiiiii..........
yes u can take science and math in 12th ....but in graduiation then u must take commerce to become a C.A............
but my suggestion is that u must take commerce with maths because u can directly do C.A after 12th and u dont have to wait for graduation..through CPT exam conducted every year.........
    BEST OF LUCK

No its not compulsory to study only commerce for becoming CA.
Any candidates who have completed there class 10+2 study are eligible to apply for Charated accountant course.
The CA course has three stages
    CPT
    IPCC
    Finally CA.

Graduates are elegible to apply directly for IPCC level.
    IT is a professional course.
You can earn more money as your experience increase in this field.
    Thanks

    NO....NO

If you Want To become a CA (charted accountant)
Then choose commerce stream (Which is related to accounts this is the main subject for CA)

    BUT

If you choose PCM(even then you can do CA)
But this will be tough for you and you have to take coaching classes to learn accountancy.

SO IF YOU ARE SURE FOR CA THEN CHOOSE COMMERCE
IT WILL BE EASY FOR YOU IN FUTURE AND WILL SAVE YOUR TIME TOO.

    THANK YOU

Re: Can I take science and maths in 11th to become a CA in future?

Yes, you can take up science and maths subject in 11th class so as to do CA. There is no restriction on the subjects to be taken in 11th level to do CA. It is necessary to pass 12th class to join CA. You can start from CA CPT level. If you get through CPT, eligibility for IPCC will be possible. As per the exemption rule in CA, you have the chance of doing IPCC even with out attempting CPT after graduation. IPCC will focus on subjects like business law, financial accounting, business communication, cost accounting etc. Also, complete article ship training and IT training in this level. Final level CA can be done after completing IPCC and practical training.

Re: Can I take science and maths in 11th to become a CA in future?

    Hello friend,

If you are interested in Science stream ,then you take science stream,no problem, because CA (Chartered Accountant ) is professional course which you join after 12th with any stream.
Its better for you if you take commerce stream ,because you will gain some knowledge from this, and you not face problem during CA course,

For CA ,first of all you register for CPT (Common Proficiency Test).
Secondly IPCC and this'd is Final CA .
Those who are graduate ,get direct in IPCC ,they no need to Do CPT exam.
IPCC is a 9 month duration course and together you take Artificial Ship training of 3 years duration.

After qualifying Bole two stages you will bw eligible for Final Ca.

After these procedure you will become complete Charted Accountant.

    Thanks.
