Re: Can I register for IPCC exam after clearing my 2nd year B.Com with more than 50% marks?

The IPCC course comes under the CA course, under the CA course there are again 3 stages they are
    1.CPT- Common Proficiency Test
    2.IPCC- Integrated Professional Competence Course
    3.CA final
so the according to new bill passed by the government is like this
The person who is from the Commerce field with a minimum of 55% can directly join into the IPCC, without the CPT course. The person who is from the non commerce should have 60% to take the IPCC, without the CPT course. After the IPCC the last stage is CA FINAL.

No its not possible for you to register for the IPCC level yet. The first level of this course is the CPT course. Only after completing the CPT level you can apply for the IPCC level. Even if you complete graduation you will need to clear the CPT level to move to the next level. Since you have completed 12th you can apply for the CPT level now. You need to register atleast 60 days before the exam. Since you are from the B.Com background with preparation it is possible to clear the exam at the first attempt.

    Hi,
without clearing CPT exam, you are not eligible for the IPCC exam, not only that you have to clear senior secondary examination(10+2 examination)
if you have entered for Foundation Examination or Professional Education (Examination-I),then also you are also eligible for Integrated Professional Competence Course subject to complying with relevant conditions.
so please clear all the requirements to qualify for IPCC exams.

IPCC (ICAI, INDIA) -- Integrated Professional Competency Course .

It is a challenging profession that offers practice or job opportunities in the areas of accounting, auditing, corporate finance, project evaluation, and company and other business laws, taxation and corporate governance .

The Central Council has approved the new announcement of allowing a Graduate student (B.com, B.Sc., BBA,etc) to directly join the IPCC course without writing CA-CPT Exam.

    >>The council announced that the eligibility criteria for the graduates to write IPCC directly is as under:
In case of a Commerce Graduate – 55%
    In case of a Non-Commerce Graduate – 60%

    >>So as per this you must be a Graduate for getting into IPCC .

    >>So first complete your Graduation with a min of 55% as your over all aggregate and then you are directly eligible for IPCC .

    Good Luck !!

Re: Can I register for IPCC exam after clearing my 2nd year B.Com with more than 50% marks?

    Dear Friend,

You can go for IPCC after Graduation.

    But complete the graduation first.

As per the council which regulates the Chartered Accountancy course, it is not possible to get direct entry into the Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC) until and unless the proposal is approved by Union Government. If the Proposal is implemented, a commerce graduate with 55% marks and a non-commerce graduate with 60% marks will be considered eligible for getting complete exemption from the Common Proficiency Test and such students will be able to get direct admission into the Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC).

But as for now, no matter how much you score in your bachelors degree program, you will not get exemption from the Common Proficiency Test and will not be able to enroll directly for IPCC.

For more information, refer to the official website of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

    ALL THE BEST!!!

Re: Can I register for IPCC exam after clearing my 2nd year B.Com with more than 50% marks?

    Yes you are eligible .

Final year candidates can apply for CA IPCC examination directly without clearing Common Proficiency Test.

The candidates who have passed class 12th study are eligible for Common Proficiency Test.

The commerce graduates with 55 % can directly register to IPCC examination. And Non Commerce with 60%.

    IPCC comes under CA course.
CA course has three stages to complete but for Graduates two steps are required to complete the course.

For IPCC examination you have accountancy professional knowledge.

CA is a good course for Commerce stream students in view of good job opportunity in companies.

    Thanks

Re: Can I register for IPCC exam after clearing my 2nd year B.Com with more than 50% marks?

    Dear friends………………

I am sorry to tell you you can't enter IPCC through the 2nd year of b.com.
After the complition final year only you can eligible for this exam

    As per the new rules of ICAI you can join in IPCC with the following qualification ;
If you belongs to commers background graduation must have at least 55%.
And in case of Other graduations are must have at least60%.

If you have any above qualification you can join in IPCC course.for this course. ICAI charged 9000 .After the complition of IPCC you can join in CA final course.

And now you are enter the CA course through the CPT only.

    All the best
