    Can I reappear in case of not clearing the IBPS exam in November attempt?

    sir i m going to appear in ibps clerk exam in nov i want to ask that if i m not passed in nov exam can i re-appear again in ibps exam as it will conduct exam twice a year

    Dear Brother,

    Yes, You can absolutely reappear for IBPS exam even if you can't clear it this time on november...
    Because, IBPS is the exam in which there are no restrictions for a candidate number of attempts..
    I think you must be Preparing to write IBPS Clerk exams which are going to be held on 17the November'2011...

    So, you can surely appear for it next time also till before your age reaches 28..Because the max.age limit for IBPS clerk posts is 28..

    Details of IBPS

    IBPS Stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.
    IBPS conducts a Common Written Exam(CWE) every year to recruit
    *Probessionary Officers(PO's)
    *Clerks and
    *Management Trainees

    The following details will clarify your doubts..

    Eligibility for IBPS::
    ->Your Percentage in 10th class must be 60% or above..
    - OR Your Inter Percent must be 50% or above
    -OR
    ->You must pass final year degree,which is recognized by government of India...
    ->You should be a citizen of India.
    ->Your age must be between 20-30 years for general candidates
    - For SC/ST Candidates it is 5 years relaxation
    - For BC category students relaxation set as 3 years.
    - For the PH candidates 10 years and ex-service-men 5years.

    Written Test Pattern::

    ->This exam will be of Objective type and Objective questions consists a total of 250 marks and should be written in 150 Mins.
    The various components of written exam are as follows:
    - Reasoning carries 50questions for 50marks
    - English Language carries 50questions for 25marks
    - Numerical Ability carries 50questions for 50marks
    - General Awareness related to Banking Industry carries 50questions 50marks
    - Computer Knowledge carries 50question 50marks

    Online application registration: August 25 Sep 24, 2011.
    IBPS CWE (Common written Examination) test: November 27, 2011.

    Hi friend, yes you can reappear for the exam...Here are the qualifications required for I.B.P.S exam:-
    The candidate must be Indian.
    Your age must be in between 18-28 years
    Must have completed +2 with a minimum of 50%
    Must have completed Xth with a minimum of 60%
    Must have completed graduation for any university with good and satisfying percentage.

    Hello my dear aspirant,


    Yes, You can apply for IBPS common written test how many times you want to get good score in that test, there is no rule to apply for the test.it is completely your interest, there is no restrictions like candidates has to appear for limited attempts only.absolutely no conditions are there, you can apply for entrance test, how many time you want;

    >>IBPS is conducting common written test for 19 government sector banks for clerical cadre and PO positions.IBPS is conducting two times in a year for the two positions.

    >>For Clerical cadre,You must be having at least 60% of marks in your Intermediate or If you qualify in graduation is enough.

    >>For PO position,you must be completed your graduation with 50% of marks from any stream from recognized university and 5% relaxation is available if you are related to SC and ST category.


    If you are having above eligibility criteria the you can apply number of time, there is no conditions.but your age should be between 18 to 28 years.
