It is not possible to do any computer related career without maths because maths is very essential to do the engineering and also for BCA etc.,
only one option is to do the diploma courses. but this is also not worth that much. better do your career in some other way.

Maths along with Physics and Chemistry in 12th standard is a must for those interested in making a career in the computer field. This is a prerequisite to appear for any of the entrance exams. So without Maths its not possible to have a career in the computer field. While deciding on the stream you need to necessarily understand the subjects that you will need to study. Also you need to have the interest and aptitude for the same. Without this you will not be able have a successful career. After specialising in Biology, Physics and Chemistry you will be eligible for streams like medicine, nursing, B.Sc etc.

Yes, you can make your career in computers without doing +2
You can appear in Joint Entrance Test(JET) to take admission in diploma
diploma is of three years and JET excam is on the basis of 10th
On the basis of your JET rank you willl get admission in diploma
After completion o diploma you must have atleast 60% marks in diploma
and should not have any backlog pending in diploma, if there will be any you need to clear it first.

AFter pasing diploma with 60% or above .,, you become eligible to admission in some engineering college.
After that you will have to appear in Lateral Entry Test(LEET) to take direct admission in B.Tech second year.
You need to have good rank in LEET to get good engineering college.
you can select computer science in diploma and B>tech to make your career in computer

    Best of luck

yes you can opt for courses like B.C.A and B.SC (animation) but you are not eligible for any computer science courses ! you can have a good future if you do it so ! and you can continue your education in medical stream and you can do any computer courses side by side for good future in medical stream!

Re: Can I opt for any computer oriented career without taking Maths in Class 11th but with BiPC?

Yes off course you can opt for any computer oriented career option even if you have not opted for maths in class 11th.There is no such requirement to opt for maths or even study maths
during 11th standard or higher secondary to make a career in the field of computer science or in other words information technology.

So, you need not worry at all that you have not opted for maths, as it will not at all affect your decision to pursue any course in the field of computers.
There is no such college in India which would not give you admission to any computer oriented course because of the reason that you had not opted for Maths at higher secondary.
There are a number of computer oriented courses which are offered by various colleges all over India. These can be explained as follows:
    1)B.Sc in computer science-
This course is generally opted by people from science background and this course allows a student to learn about computer science in great detail. Many students who wish to make
a career in the field of computers, opt for this course. There are a wide variety of subjects which are required to be studied during the course.

    2)B.Sc in information technology-
This course has a much wider perspective than B.Sc in computer science. In this course, you are not only required to study about computer but a number of other concepts about
information technology. But there are only a limited number of colleges that have a reputation of providing a valuable degree in information technology. So, you need to be very careful
    about college selection.

    3)BCA(Bachelor of computer application)-
This is also a three year undergraduate program which is solely based on the concepts and basics of computer applications.Computer application is a field which is concerned with
the use of computers in different areas. You can even pursue masters in this field as masters in computer applications s a really valued course in the job market and it can lead to
long run success and can open great career prospects for you.

    Hi friend,

You can opt for any computer oriented career without taking Maths in Class 11th . But you can't apply for courses such as M.C.A or engineering courses in computer science and IT .
You can apply for following courses without having Maths in 11th class .......
    • Networking Courses
    • Java courses
    • CCNA , CCDA courses from CISCO.
    • C, C++ courses from NIIT.
    • .NET CERTIFICATION COURSES

    Good Luck...!!

Re: Can I opt for any computer oriented career without taking Maths in Class 11th but with BiPC?

    Hello friend,

You can surely opt for computer oriented career. But as you said that you don't want to join Mathematics in 11th,so it would be difficult to go for good Computer related Courses.Even if you want to go for Computer Engineering course, then also Physics,Chemistry and Maths are a pre-requisite requirement to appear in Engineering Entrance exam.

The best option available for you,if you don't want to go for maths subject is to join a 3-year Diploma course in Computer or IT Engineering. In Diploma, you just have to face low level Mathematics concepts. After completing your Diploma course, you can directly join second year or Engineering Degree on the basis of Lateral Entry exam.
Moreover on the basis of your Diploma, you can also apply for job.You can join diploma,on the basis of your 10Th.

So,according to me the best option for you is to join Diploma course,as you don't want to do Mathematics in 11Th.

you can do that but if you do so then you will lack in a few areas like fuzzy logic, Algorithms & other mathematical related programming. If you opt for maths n then do ur computer science or computer course the value is more because you can apply many things into your programming. Most of the programming used in robots & other electronic gadgets incorporate mathematical theory which prove fatal to you in obtaining precise results.

lots of mathematical logics are aplied in computers to obtain accurate & desired results

maths will also help you to learn operation research, discrete maths & numerical analysis which will be useful for programming.................... all the best...............maths will always add a weightage to your computer skills
