    Dear Friend,

No there is no way to join directly IPCC of CA course with out giving CPT examination.

CPT is the entry examination of the CA course.Any candidate who wants to join CA course has to qualify the CPT examination first.

    Best Wishes.....

Yes you can enter into the IPCC stage two course of the CA without the CPT exam. Acoording to the new rule of the government it is like if the candidate has completed his degree and if he is from a commerce group the he must have 55% to enter into the IPCC directly without the CPT exam, and if the candidate is having 60% and if he is from a non commerce group then he can enter into the IPCC without taking the Common Proficiency test(CPT). After the IPCC, the last stage is the CA FINAL. The total duration to complete this total INTER & FINAL is 36 years.

you can not join CA IPCC directly without giving the CPT exams .one must have to clear the CPT exams as it is the preliminary stage for IPCC.

As it is not clearly mentioned by institute of charted accountants officially"-

It was said earlier that anyone is eligible to join IPCC without CPT exam,,, if only:-

If you are a graduate from commerce and secured 55% marks.
If you are a graduate of science, arts and secured 60% marks.

the above is not yet approved .
so you must appear for the CPT exam.

Re: Can I join in IPCC Directly without appearing in CPT Examination after completing my B.Com with 62%?

Yes friend you can join IPCC directly without any entrance examination !

IPCC (ICAI, INDIA) -- Integrated Professional Competency Course .

It is a challenging profession that offers practice or job opportunities in the areas of accounting, auditing, corporate finance, project evaluation, and company and other business laws, taxation and corporate governance .

The Central Council has approved the new announcement of allowing a Graduate student (B.com, B.Sc., BBA,etc) to directly join the IPCC course without writing CA-CPT Exam.

The council announced that the eligibility criteria for the graduates to write IPCC directly is as under:
In case of a Commerce Graduate – 55%
    In case of a Non-Commerce Graduate – 60%

This announcement was made by G Ramaswamy, The President of the ICAI in his interview to the “The Hindu” .
G Ramaswamy also said that Though it is approved by the central council of the ICAI, but the same is pending for the approval of the Union Govt.
“So the new norm is not yet Applicable”.

But, Since the announcement is yet to be approved by the union govt , so it is better to appear for the CPT entrance test also .

CA CPT -- Chartered Accountant Common Proficiency Test .

    Good Luck !!

Re: Can I join in IPCC Directly without appearing in CPT Examination after completing my B.Com with 62%?

Yes you can apply for IPCC with out appearing for CPT examination.

Because recently Government of INDIA Gave a Statement that if a person is Graduated with above 60% then he can appear for IPCC with out CPT.

To appear for IPCC exam you need to have completed/Qualified CPT exam.

CPT stands for Common Proficiency Test.

This exam is the entrance exam for CA (Charted Accoutant).

CPT exam is conducted by ICAI board.

You need to complete your 12th standard from a reconized university .

You need to get 50% that is you need to get 100 marks to get qualified.

After Qualifying CPT you will be eligible to appear for IPCC.

But there was a change in this format by Government of India that is you can appear for IPCC with out clearing CPT if you have completed your Graduation.

You need to have scored above 60% in your Graduation if non-commerce student and above 55% if belonging to Commerce background.

So as you have completed your B.com with 62 % your eligible to appear for IPCC directly with our CPT.

THERE IS NO AGE LIMIT FOR CA COURSE.

    2)Group2
In both groups in total you have to clear 7 papers.ICAI conduct IPCC twice in a year-in the month of May and November.

You will be having Practical training after passing Group I

    Subjects in IPCC:
    Group I

    Business Laws(30 Marks)
    Company Law(30 marks)

    Paper6:Auditing and Assurance(100 marks)

Paper 7:Information Technology and Strategic Management
