Yes of course you can join IT department after 12th class, i only currently in IT after 12th.

For coming in IT you need to do Diploma, degree and IT courses from any Institute. So, first give details about your qualification, career goal, future plans. For admission in diploma and degree in good college need good % but you can get admission in any IT course provide institute.

Other than IT i suggest you certification courses like CCNA, CCIE, CCNP. these are CISCO courses. After completing CCIE and CCNP exams the salary is high because these courses are professional and very big. After completing these courses you will get job in reputed MNC's.
